must be fun getting out if you leave early and your bike was one of the first in.

Find a new job with a bigger bike room.
Seriously though, is there space on the other walls for similar brackets.
There are more space efficient solutions that what you've already got. Hooks at alternating heights is probably best, something like this (although photo is confusing as they're alongside a ramp):-

Yeah i think wall hooks are the way to go, it doesnt help that on the left hand side (cut out of the picture) theres a row of lockers they dont want to move.. even though people cant ever get into the lockers because of the number of bikes.

I'm moving house and going from having a garage to only having a shed.
I've got to store 5 or 6 bikes.
Does anyone have any suggestions of sheds that can hold this many bikes but are also easy to get them in and out.
I've had bikes in a shed before and it was a pain getting the one from the back and having to move the whole lot. -

Get one tall enough to use clugs and store your bikes vertically.

build a shed, don't buy one ready made.

Built this for my daily ride . I converted it from a 6x4' shed bought for £80, I've reinforced it with some Dexion shelving I had laying around. There is now a padlock and hasp on the door and inside I d-lock the bike to a floor shackle.
I live in a mid terrace so it saves me a few mins and the woodwork/kitchen bringing the bike through the house.
On the down side it only stores one bike (I've got five).
On the plus side I'm the first person in my road to have a dunny in my front garden!

So I finally got around to pulling the rotting roof off my shed last weekend, and one of the beams took half of the bricks with it! Also the pier on left of the door fell down pretty easily as the bricks had been laid on their sides!
So with what was left needing a lot of repair work, and not being that fussed about having a window for the sake of security I've decided to tear it down and build a new blockwork structure. I have some rendering work to be done on the house so I can get this covered at the same time, and then the plan is to build a green roof myself.

I've finally got around to making a small batch of bike racks. I'd like to do a very soft launch on LFGSS before I start putting energy into making a website and a brand. Or perhaps a brand and a website.
These are my own design, laser cut from high grade baltic birch plywood, assembled and finished by my own hands in sunny Nunhead.
I've tried to design a piece of furniture first and foremost - something you'd be happy to have on your wall whether or not you've got a bike hanging from it. As you can see, there's a couple of cubby holes for lights, tools, hats and the like, and you can pop your helmet on the shelf too.The price is £145.
If you're interested, either post in this thread, or PM me.
Does anyone think this warrants it's own thread, btw?

Yes.
Lovely work.

Very nice, I would consider in the future definitely when I move flat. Only comment is that is the slope that the bike sits on steep enough? How difficult will it be to knock the bike out and off the support?

Looks fantastic. My only suggestion would be maybe consider some kind of soft liner on the inside edges, for those with carbon bikes with precious paint jobs.

Nah, it's really secure - I've had my hand-built prototype in my house's entry hall for ages, bike gets nudged all the time but stays safe.

Not a bad idea. I've had alu and steel bikes in mine, and it hasn't scratched. I guess because carbon has a tiny bit more give in it, perhaps the paint could be more vulnerable? I should do a test.
Thanks for the kind words, all.

Anyone looking to sell a secure bike shed? Have moved and am now with significantly less space..
Something like these asgard ones would be great - I can collect in London:
Currently this is the bike situation in our office bike room:
There are 9 of these 'roll in' bike spots and clearly there are alot more people that ride in than 9. The office manager is trying to force people that if these 9 spaces are taken to lock up outside (a 3 minute walk away is the nearest public point, and that is almost always full / only has room for 6 or so bikes anyway) I feel like only having 9 spots in the entire room is a massive waste and there could surely be a way to fit way more bikes in..
who has suggestions?
