I stopped faffing around and decided to give the stable a prominent position in my room.

@bashthebox patient your thing. Check out Twonee (@twonee_com on twitter), they have a similar design.

Anyone tried anything like this? Hanging wheel hooks that allow the bike to pivot. Might be a good way to pack more bike into a smaller shed space.

My wife’s hang low
I enjoyed reading the reviews

Is this the right place to ask about racks for cars? We just bought a new car, a Peugeot 308, and I need to find a way of attaching at least one, preferably two road bikes to it in a not-fally-off fashion.

Excellent cupboard. I love me a storage solution. Am about to move house and i'm gaining floorspace and stairs but losing a garage and secure bike racks. No cellar or loft space either so storage is going to be interesting. Was looking at bike lockers for the back garden but something like this in a utility room could be great.

The shed's in the wrong place.
That's what she said, the shed's in the wrong place. It's in the garden, at the far end, it's where a shed should be.
No she says, that end of the garden gets the evening sun, I want decking down there, with seating, a bbq zone and a covered section. Move the shed.
Where?
There?
You sure?
Yep.
It'll stick out s bit, it's a big shed.
Put it there.
Sunday I carefully dismantled my 10x8 pent roof shed. Dug out an ants nest and levelled out the ground as best I could about halfway up the garden, put down slabs and adjustable feet. Built a frame out of 2by4 and carefully reassembled the shed. I've been knackered for two days. My back's fucked, my hams hurt from lifting and squatting. My shoulders ache.
Last night she looked out of the kitchen window. The shed's in the wrong place. -

Change her for someone who thinks the shed is in the right place.

Already up in classifieds, will trade for beer.

Rebuild the shed so big that it takes up the entire garden. It'll always be in the right place then.
Has the added bonus of never having to mow the lawn again.

Surely I need planning permission to go larger than 95sqm?
-
• #763
Build it big enough and nobody can get in your garden to measure it...

What hooks are these?

Looks neat

best way to hang a frame up on the wall as a centre piece?
I've seen the Outline Works Trophy Bull Holder and some peoples home made Wooden Pole hangers. Prefer the later but requires some skill on my part. I recon the Bull Holder will sit too far off the wall as it's built to hold a full bike.

Wall hooks for a shed. What size to hang 2 frames on 1 pair of hooks?
-
• #773
Do you think you could get two frames, no wheels, on one pair of those?
Depth is 30 cm isn't it? -
• #774
Is not a concern about mass I have. Is a concern about depth of hook and its capability of holding two relatively light frames with no wheels.
If they will both fit on one pair of hooks. Otherwise I might just get two j shaped hooks and hang by headtube. -

I reckon your problem will be the handlebars. There are 48cm bars on the tandem and there's space to fit another frame on there if you did them top to tail.
I want to get a bike shed for the back garden. Our garden is secure, so I have no need for the shed to be lockable. I quite like the idea of the shed being open. Something like this:
However, my concern is that everything will seize up and rust in no time at all. I'd love people's opinions on this, and whether anyone has experience of anything similar.
