Hey dude, completely missed you. I was wondering who she was shouting at. If you'd looked behind you you'd have made it five, Festus was hot on your tail.
Game of FTTL soon? We still need to beta test that other game.

Definitely! I've been thinking about bumping that thread a lot but too busy. Soon for sure. Shame I missed Festus!

Ah yes, another Tower Bridge-related spot this morning--I think my first sighting of the Lesser Spotted Brakless Single-speed Foot-dragger. I noticed him at the lights at the northern end but didn't pay much attention to his bike--looked like just an ordinary beater. This changed just as I'd slowed for a queue of cars ahead on the downhill slope of the southern bridge approach, primary position behind a car. He overtook me by weaving in a very close arc around me on the outside, then somehow managed to insert himself between car and kerb, and it was at this point that I realised he was riding single-speed brakless. As he weaved through the queue, I realised his stopping technique was to drag his shoes along the ground. Oh dear.

• #34336
yes but that is in a grid system with stop signs at every junction and not simply scraping your toes against the ground. aforementioned guy must have extremely little understanding of bicycling
-

I'm still trying to get used to the idea that you can have your saddle low enough to touch the ground with your feet!

Some kook on his Apollo full sus getting crunched against a parked car by a bus. "Don't go down the inside fella!!" He was ok, just a bit shocked.
Buses on Old Broad St a real pain at the mo, is there a diversion? Can take about 10 mins to navigate that short road. Causing some nasty potholes too.

Threadneedle st is being dug up.
Options are south on Moorgate or take Cornhill and go onto Bishopsgate.
It might be possible now to go up Threadneedle St on a bike. Not sure. -

A-ha...thanks. I wondered why there were so many buses on OBS now. Sadly it is my best route.

Boris bike fuckwit riding up behing stopped truck, then onto the wrong side of the road to cheat the red lights that go green mid-move so that the right turning truck is now in the apex of the turn at the same time he is. I yelled at the dozy fuckwit but luckily the truck stopped before he was road paste.
Some fuckwit in a red/purple/white Rek or Trek or something retro jersey rolling up the inside of a left turning truck on Euston rd. then heading up the footpath after running out of room. Works in 338 or 350 Euston Road and you ride like a dick but I didn't have the chance to tell you.
To balance it, car running red in Acton and swerving around bike and cars to gain two spots at the next lights 30m down the road.
My motorbike riding buddy came in today and said "did you think it was crazy today?" after almost having his front wheel taken off by red light running car.
Full moon?

Saw HatBread(sic) at the jamacia way sprint section today, in what looked like summer kit. Still warmed by all the grilled meat last night. I'm nearly in full winter garb at the moment. Nice to see you again fella.

Two possible Forumengers this morning down Kennington Park Road just after 8.30.
First: girl on black frame, dressed all in black, second time I've seen you this week. Great riding through traffic, jealous of your skills!
Second: Guy on blue frame with water bottle for rear mudguard. Nice wheels, I wanted to ask if you were on the forum, but I'm a bit shy like that! Next time say hi!
I was the guy looking silly in the yellow MKS cap on the Plug!

^^^ You too Mr Pun
I caught a fleeting glimpse of someone riding fixed wearing denim shorts with a couple of spoke cards and a huge black rolltop backpack heading central bound along creek road at about 8:40 this morning. Have no idea if people were only joking about the denim but think this could be a possible JAMIE spot if they weren't.

... dropout heading north on kingsway ...
Hey Jonny, I was looking for a certain shopfront. Shame I didn't clock you.

Yesterday morning, Gormley, calling my name out as he slained and I picked a route through the potholes of Clapham Junction.
Looks like the beard has gone, Adam; sign of Spring?

Was a shit load of bikes about but had no idea which belonged to which people
