Possibly Ed, but could see much on the rear to say that it was.
Reason i think it wasn't coaster was it was on old racer frame
with tatty parts on, look like cheap conversion. so wouldn't have
lugs/brackets for coaster.....

a spinny spinny polo bike emerging from Asylum Road onto the OKR this morning, rider in a black jacket with black Timbuk2 bag and black hair, riding a dark burgundy frame with interesting brakes on the rear - kind of like the BMX-style ones that sat under the chainstays of some early mountain bikes and got mightily clagged up, but mounted on the seatstays.

I admired your acceleration away from the lights - you won't have seen me, as I am in slow mode after about 6 weeks off the bike due to illness.
