  • ...trackstanding the tranny.

  • The weather was CrAzY today, i could barely pedal at some points! Plenty of people gave up and walked their bikes I saw.

Maybe something to do with your Crazy 100 + GI you attempt to mash through?

Do people never use their drop bar?

Flats on this bike and I still managed 5 miles in 14 minutes

Oh and on 66.4 GI, with my bag loaded up with: shoes, change of clothes, laptop in hardcase, charger, ski pants and random bits, maybe try a spinnier gear SShopeful ;)

I did today (dont normally) and still found it a bit of a struggle. but i zooomed passed the sit up and beg dutchies!!!

My new bike will be blessed with the magical drops, however I enjoyed the same pleasure this morning on my flat barred uber-commuter, lots of fun it was too :p

According to Geraint Thomas's Twitter, this was the water cooler topic at Manchester Velodrome this morning.

very true!! :) i do have a 48t chainring that just needs fitting and a new rear wheel with PERHAPS 16t rear, so all might improve in time but for now, i will continue with 100+Gi lol

    0:44 or -21 hahahaha :D

  • Its always amazing to me when you seen lots of hi-viz plebs (you guys call them nodders?) from a distance at a higher point of reference like coming down a hill.

Its like a bright yellow slinky, clumping up at lights and stretching out to the next one.
But most of them are fair weather cyclists, so theres less to watch.

Look still haven't come back to me with an increase on their sponsorship offer....I am not amused.

Are they more aerodynamic in wind or something?

  • Are they more aerodynamic in wind or something?

No but the grip direction of the bar is far more ergonomic when walking your bike, which makes life a lot easier for your average ShoHo hipster no?

  • I wouldn't normally bother 'spotting' a random bike but this one keeps reappearing and I'm developing a slight crush on it. It is a beautiful electric blue to white fade Simonelli track frame, with chrome seat stays and forks. Locked with a Fag mini in various places around UCL and environs...

Thats mine! Peeking at your photos, i'm pretty sure i saw you cycling no handed down Gordon Street yesterday on your Briton. Are you at UCL as well?

Ha! Yes, I am; I'm in Foster court. 'Mon the UCL...

  • UCL? more like poo-CL

    :)

  • ace, ill give you a shout if i see you again

  • UCL? more like poo-CL

    :)

    the wit!

There's quite a big fixed contingent at UCL, i keep on seeing one of those Cinelli Mash frames locked up around campus

  • Not just the frame i might add, its got other stuff too

  • Yeah, there's a few. Gie us a wave next time :-)

  • Think I nearly ran into Zaha Hadid today as she crossed the road on Southwark St.

Saw a bloke that looked like Bob Geldoff riding a step through hybrid, I'm pretty sure it wasn't him though.

and what looked like BMMF turning right onto Old St

    You're dead to me.

  • you're dead to me.

    utfed

  • haha. kcl reprezentin.

  • arsen_design in Sarf London this evening, made the roll home an even more pleasurable experience... See ya Friday night, blud...

  • Coming home tonight (I go up New Oxford St and turn right onto Tottenham Court Road, it's always windy there and you often get hit by a big gust just before Centrepoint, I think it's the big buildings generate wind thing) but today it was something else, like being in a wind tunnel. I did exactly the same thing - down from 15-20mph to virtually nothing in a second..

Me, on Millbank, no traffic because of the Queen thing, literally being stopped dead in my tracks from rolling along at about 15mph by a gust of wind like a train, I had to laugh.

  • Crossing London Bridge today I had to get off and jump the railings as the wind literally lifted me sideways. I'm 5'11''. Felt so dainty!

I haven't turned right onto Old St today, other than walking home from Argos with Tynan on his micro-scooter.

    Who is this doppelgänger?

  • i zooomed passed the sit up and beg dutchies!!!

did you pass the dutchies pon the left handside?

    that's quite an undertaking...

  • Think I nearly ran into Zaha Hadid today as she crossed the road on Southwark St.

That I would pay good money to see.
