rode with a guy from Aldgate down to London Bridge who was singing very loud whilst listening to his tunes, he seemed to be having fun, if a little suicidal. Nice to meet you.
I also have to apologise x100 to whoever I cut up between London Bridge/Borough. Stupid place to get on my bike at speed, sorry!
Oh an also, thankyou very much Harry.Major for the seatpost.

spotted a bus driver over taking me on waterloo bridge then immediately pulling into a bus stop.
i had to do an E brake then go around him, and as i went past we made eye contact in his wing mirror, then i smashed it with my mini D and was away so he didn't try and run me down
then on the way home from waterloo i had to talk my way out of an RLJ ticket
then had a black guy on a puegoet roadbike cheer when i did a skid
all in all a very eventful ride

oh good, he'll be nice and safe for the rest of the journey then
-
• #18764
It might be more use to get on the bus and ask for his number, in order to report him for aggressive/poor driving.
I've done it before - they start shouting "you can't bring your bike on here", but you just shout back, "give me your number and I'll get off."
-
• #18765
I would imagine that he would have to stop (the bus driver) as it would be extremely unsafe to continue without a mirror, and technically the bus would be uninsured etc as it would be un-MOT'able.

well im not too bothered the window only snapped backwards, he can re-adjust it, besides i had places to go
-

besides i had places to go
Like all the passengers on the bus?
-
• #18768
true, but i was the one afraid of being run down, (also the bus was a 341 only 1 more stop to go after that)
at the end of the day he probably just reached out his window and pulled it back then carried on thinking "god that guy was a cunt"

You do realise that this maneuver are usually cause by doozy passenger who press the button a minutes too late causing the bus to quickly get into the stop?

me, old st round about, mind 24000miles away, almost taking out the chap I see round e1 a bit. He rides the orange bob jackson - sorry mate, you were awefully kind. I then mumbled and bumbled for a bit at the lights.... shame

i dont agree. is that why when the stop is 100 metres up the road and i see them and they cant overtake and swing in because i am riding too wide they approach the bus stop normally?
i always approach bus stops that much further out in the road to prevent this nonsense. if the driver realises he/she will have to drive on the other side of the road in order to overtake you then they wont. try it and see.
sorry if i missed something.

I didn't say anything - too far away and one does not shout DAS in Mayfair ;-)
