You do realise that this maneuver are usually cause by doozy passenger who press the button a minutes too late causing the bus to quickly get into the stop?

If you drove a bus, would you overtake a cyclist when there was a bus stop up ahead, knowing full well that idiotic passengers press the button far too late?

^^^Good point. Major pet hate is when vehicles overtake you, then stop and get in your way/cut you up as soon as they've done it.

Bloke on a kona something yesterday, and a bloke on a condor pista today, both SS, both riding impressively fast through traffic. Chapeau gents, makes me realise the benefit of a freewheel and some brakes.

a bunch of fixie-skidder-tricksters on place de la bastille in paris. One guy riding pretty freaking tight circles around a plastic cup on the ground, backwards. Shortly afterwards, a girl wheeling a seriously hot pink bike with black deep v's or similar down rue de la roquette, where I was propping up a bar. And I've decided to move to paris, because it is actually the perfect city in which to ride a bike. Fact.

Actually, I'm just loved up cos I had a really nice ride across the city.
