I thought it was you. I opened my mouth to say hi, but nowt came out. Then I contemplated stopping for a chat. But by the time I had thought about it I was through the lights. It was nice to finally see the FGSS most spotted personage. Next time I will stop to say hi.

Nah I'm not a CSM student, I was waiting for my girlfriend who was in Beas of Bloomsbury to grab a sandwich to eat before heading to CSM.

your bike actually look better in the flesh than in photos! had you stopped I'd have taken a quick snap.

So is she a student? Or is one of your a member of staff?
Or is the CSM thing not a thing at all.
Maybe a better thing to ask is what do you do?

The reason it looks "better" in the flesh is two fold:
1) I'm a terrible photo-groper with a terrible Camera, and no interest in being better at it.
2) I'm sat on and holding the two pink bits that don't match the other pink bits.

But in any case I regret not stopping more now.

a guy at the castle (climbing wall) last night on a cream bike with a pair of lovely lovely metallic turquoise deep v's. also spotted at the wall this week, a dude on a very nice red bob jackson.

does anybody know a lad from around brixton who rides a black brakeless with a green rear deep-v and a yellow front deep-v? has a white skate helmet and a builders flo-jacket.

I was plodding along Brixton Road minding my own business this morning and he nipped past me giving a cheeky smile.

was he a ginger? Mr Turd Furgursen?......not sure about the yellow front, but the rest sounds about right, i think he resides out loughborough junction way.

Mr rocksteady himself on mile end road, stopped for a chat, he was on his way to work, I was waiting for a lift to work, with my fully loaded messenger bag, tripod and mahoosive kata bag loaded up with lightstands and all manner of camera gear, must have looked like I was moving house lol. Had to drop the car in for a service so my commute was bikeless this morning, but i'm riding home thank fuck, the tube sucks!

He was on his way to see me for D&B goodness for tomorrow night's Kingspin, complaining about how he hit 20 minutes of red lights with a police car behind him. I found him casually trackstanding outside my office whilst brixton yout bumped around him.

Did you see that cool "FK" geared bike at the Castle last night? Chipped off-white frame with very weird geometry and tubes all over the place. Looked fairly old. Does anyone know what kind of frame I'm talking about...?

Always lots of fixed / SS folk at the Castle, and drinking in the Brownswood afterwards.

Got smoked this morning TWICE this morning, by a slim black guy wearing a red helmet, on a bluey-green Eddy Merckx with fenders.

I know I'm slow, but flippin' 'eck mate, give me a chance to retain some dignity.

We had a beautiful exchange of sprints and RLJ's, jousting back and forth cheekily for the lead, until you finally left me for dust on Victoria Park road.
