I wanna do this, but i wanna do it fixed. My specialized's drivetrain is already fucked (must be all that hard riding).
Anyone got a spare? 56=58cm. I can give you a deposit.
Merci!

I'm bringing a mini-D.
I was half-kidding about the bailing stations - that would be giving up before I started.
I'd rather not have seaside fish and chips - staying away from all things touristy is a good thing, but I'll go along with recommendations.

yeah, not on for touristy fish and chips - agree with whoever said they're better up north (i lived in newcastle before). and i was serious about the bailing stations!

not taking a lock, not leaving my bike where i can't see it. and won't be hanging in brighton too long. can only do the ride if i don't hang around as got things to do back in the smoke. shame, cos like the sound of chilling with food and beer - but sunday is gonna have to be just about the riding

How do you do this? Have you cycled it with a GPS or something? I'd like to be able to map some routes and include an elevation in it with way points etc. Anyone know how?
-
• #160
garmin edge is cycling specific
-
• #161
If you plot the route on http://www.bikely.com you can see it if you click "show" and "elevation profile".

• #162

i am speaking at a rememberance day ceremony. nothing bike related. should have plenty of time to enjoy the ride down and get back on the train.

Okay. That's my life rearranged. I'm sleeping on Saturday then going out on saturday night then meeting you guys at 9am for the ride. Don't worry I'll make sure I have some sleep between going out and the ride.
