I love this forum and it has been a big part of my life for a while.
But won't contribute to any kind of collective effort as frankly I don't trust it in the hands of anyone other than Velocio.
And totally respect those hands need to loosen their grip on the tiller.

cheers for the feedback all. on reflection I think I will not go as low as 63 but settle on 66. just 2 GI difference.
i live in the flattest, yet windiest part of the country. the winter fixed at least has drops on it so can hide a little bit from it. have a feeling 63 will just be too slow. even for my old legs

just wondering what GI people are rolling on for winter?
sorting out build at moment and tempted to go down to 63 GI for winter fixed when I generally roll 68 GI the rest of the time.
Do people make such a change to their rigs for the colder months?
