I 'got off with' a trainee WPC called Sharon from Essex, when I was 16. She stuck her tongue down my throat. It was unfeasibly long, and triggered my gag reflex. I threw up in her mouth. She was actually too pissed to notice at first. My first tangle with the law.
More straight up factuality.
A similar thing happened to a friend of mine, he got spew all over his, er, groin... He wasn't a copper (and neither was she, actually)... There may have been a whiff of hipster... But it happened in sub-tropical Australia, not leafy, temperate Herne Hill... DFL at this point, I guess...
I'm slappping a D-notice on all my HH encounters... ;) -

well ok, but what was the proximity to herne hill? that's the criterium by which men are measured by round here
Your getting crits and track racing mixed up.
It was in Chelmsford (the horror) - if you get the numbers from some mapping software, just send them to mikec to do the statistical analysis. Sounds like he'd relish the opportunity.

Been there as well. The lights were off. I wondered what the exciting and not altogether unpleasant tingling sensation was. Hadn't differentiated between the acoustic qualities of a gag and a retch. You live and learn.

I'm gonna be bumping this thread every opportunity I get cuz loads of people don't seem to realise we're actually racing on Sunday?!?!? WTF?!?! Stupid, sexy new forum sticky format!! Anyway, expect hilarious bump puns over the next 36 hours... Tell yer mamma, tell yer poppa, tell yer next door neighbour... I want Sunday to be a stupid fun day so we can have another one in early September, the prizes for that one will be A-MA-ZING (even more amazing than the already incredible prizes we have for Sunnday), let me tell you!
Anyway, spread the word... -

Nice one Joe. Yeah, I'm hoping for a good turnout too. I need lots of people to obtain my mid-table obscurity.

Just got back from HH, adoubletap, RPM and Shinscar spotted... Very impressed with Ray's silky smooth cadence, very quick... Street gearing too!

Wait for the Shinscar cameo at the very end!

good fun. induction, done. tomorrow should be even better
-
• #692
Shit, I don't have to have done the induction do I? I'll just turn up early and it'll be cool right?
-
• #693
your as bad as nimhbus, david ;)
turn up early there's an induction tomorrow
-
• #694
I think that went rather well considering we had a full house down there this morning. One thing though, go easy with the chain tension as an over tight chain creates drag.
-
• #695
^Guilty as charged ;)
Other relevant thing mentioned for anyone wanting to try their own bike out was making sure your tyres are in decent (i.e. not completely f*cked) condition.

Any idea of the time tomorrow AM ?
Is it 9am again >? -
• #697
I think almost everyone who's looked at this thread knows what time it starts
-
• #698
Is it tomorrow then?
-
• #699
Next week surely! Can there be an induction at 11:04:32? It would make everything easier and I wouldn't have to ride too far
-
• #700
yeah it's next week, 9am.
see you all there!
SPSS. Christ that brings up some memories. Must be on about version 100 by now?
