• Next week? I thought it was last week!

  • It's late in the day, but I'm going to ask a serious question about tomorrow:

Is it the induction at noon? If so, could the previously inducted turn up more like 12.30-1pm? I suppose we still need to sign on and stuff.

And what time's the anticipated close of play, as far as racing's concerned?

  • No, I think everyone should turn up at 12. That way we can get started as soon as the induction finishes. And if the people who need an induction could turn up earlier, say 11.30am, then maybe we can start racing at a reasonable hour.

  • induction is at midday bmmf so reckon you tipping up at one will be fine.
bumped into JDSH and Shinscar earlier, after they did todays induction. v big smiles.

anyway, JDSH and I decided we would meet at the Brick Lane Polo Court tomorrow to ride on down. everyone welcome for the east london connection. 1130 at the court.

spent a couple of hours with hillbilly this afternoon at his kingston outfit. the Monoc(le) is now ready to rock. Big thanks hillbilly - you knows there is cider with your name it.

    tomorrow all

  • I'm coming for you Lebowski! I'll see you there.

No prob's Jonny. Looking forward to your marathon all day ride, how many laps do you think you'll clock up?

  • @Lebowski - definitely share your desire to get things moving asap. However, going by what jonny says, and being in a position where I've got to keep my leisure activities as streamlined as possible tomorrow, I'm going to leave home at noon.

I'm not expecting anyone to hold off starting on my account :)

  • it'll be fine

the racing won't take *all *that long..

    we've got till 1730-1800 anyway.

  • it'll all be over by 2.30, and we'll be in the pub

  • very possibly. depends how many turn up, and how many of those will race.

otherwise we might all be watching hillbilly and about 6 others riding around all day till they get dizzy

  • @Lebowski. Don't lead out too early dude, hang mid field work with a group and then two laps to go make your move, don't get boxed and dont cross wheels.
    Hillbilly is toast :)
    Cider for you Jim

    Bump:

  • @Lebowski. Don't lead out too early dude, hang your shoes up and let hill billy through and then two laps to go make him a cup of tea for the podium, don't get boxed chocolates and dont cross your eyes.
Hillbilly wants toast with jam on as well :)

Cheers mate. Thats awfull nice of you. ;-)

  • Touche!
    Still cider for you.

  • I never say no to cider my good man.
Will the cafe on wheels be there?

  • I hate double post's and my computer just made me do a number two.

  • I hope there's some fodder available!

cos riding to that sainsburys is a bit poxy

  • i doubt they'll lay it on just for a few hipsters, tbh

  • The cafe's gonna be open, don't worry peoples... See ya tomorrow! :-)

  • can i hire a bikcycle?

  • the racing won't take *all *that long..

I reckon the lfgss crew could turn the 3 lap dash into a major endurance event.

  • Not sure what refreshments will be available.
So carbo loading tonight with wholesome kronenbourg and chips.
Cafe two mins past herne hill train bridge does full english though.

  • can i hire a bikcycle?
