  • No, it's the principal.

this defined how BMMF operates on every level.

  • Not sure if clever play on words or not.

You can still find principles on the high street if you know where to look. #badpunning

  • Holy fuck. Orthographic faux pas are the stuff of bikeradar. I'd better go and dust off my old log in. #beenatoughcoupleofweeks

  • I do agree that the unfathomable graph might be a bit much. It's purdy though.

  • Look at the colours!

  • No, it's the principal. At least make it fixed only in order to get some differentiation, and help re-establish the identity of the place. Why let cycling forums become as homogenized as high streets? There's no place for acquiescence, unless you lack principals.

If you lack a principal, you cannot be an agent.

If you lack principles, you are amoral.

  • Todays shakedown (which was a lot of fun):

    Looks very pleasant indeed.

  • I need to get down there again. I'd love to get under the hour this Summer, although that's a whole ten minutes to shave off... If it's sunny on Saturday I'll do some laps.

  • It's one thread out of thousands, just put it on ignore.

I thought BMMF was saying that this was the principal thread. :)

  • Whatever. My mum's got cancer again. She's had a histarectumy, and it's all about the limff knowds this week.

^ this sucks. My aunt has just been diagnosed of the second time too.

on a lighter note, I just grabbed myself a set of 50mm tubs. wom wom wom

    Running.

Got my 3 lap time down to 2.50.01: come at me bro...

  • Had a crack at clockwise laps this afternoon. Horrible wind, especially on the Kingston Gate-Richmond Gate side. Still, pleased with the time.
I'm now in the strange situation that my clockwise time is quite a bit better than my anti. I'll try and sort that this week.

    Bloody hell, good work.

Just create your own category and give yourself some prizes.

I think that's how it works in this thread.........

  • Just create your own category and give yourself some prizes.

I look forward to 6pt running three laps but in clogs, to get the shoe choice of regret 'award'.

  • Tom would look so fly in clogs

  • Bit better second time around...

  • Plenty of Dyna-Rods out there today. Bit blustery, but the roads dried out and there wasn't too much traffic in the way. Great moment heading down from Kingston Gate where a dozen bright-neon Parakeets had lined themselves down the edge of the road (possibly picking up salt crystals from a recent gritting?) and taking off in quick succession as I screamed by at 30mph - Beautiful.**

  • Managed an 18:41 lap yesterday, so am thinking of having a go at getting under an hour for 3. Is that possible, or can you not really tell from one lap? This was on a road bike without tri-bars. I do have some tri-bars but kind of prefer the idea of keeping things standard. Do most on this thread use a standard road bike? (Probably taking it too seriously...)

  • If you can do 18:41 for a lap I would think you could do three in under an hour. Try and see.

  • I'm going to have a crack at the three lap challenge fueled by Beetroot which according to that article will give me an additional 16% "free" performance.

McEvoy prepare to lose your crown.

  • Doing a 2X20 tonight, I will fuel up on the pee-pinkener first and see what my average power is.
