  • If you eat 200 g cheese a day I'm amazed you only put on 3 kgs!

  • 74kg - 77kg. Two years ago I was 84kg. Cheese isn't that bad really, sugars however...

  • New personal best for me today, still didn't break the hour but am definitely getting closer - reckon I'll have it by the end of the summer. Could someone add me to the list please? I don't want to fuck it up...

<- the FixedCheese Babybel of Speed award for fastest fixed rider
<- the EdScoble Brompton of Insanity award for fastest time on a foldable bike

  • ^^ Fixed or geared dude?

  • Thanks! Geared.

  • I'm going to go and shakedown my road bike round Richmond Park tomorrow morning if anyone else is about, please say hello.

  • 29 pages for a thread that started (and belongs) on C+/bikeradar.

It's appalling. If I were Velocio, I'd use the convenient list to delete the accounts of the participants, or do some kind of auto-reroute to the bikeradar RP3LC thread whenever people try to access this one.

The internet doesn't need *two *bikeradars (in much the same way it doesn't need *two *lfgsss, but *one *lfgss would be nice).

  • It's one thread out of thousands, just put it on ignore.

  • No, it's the principal. At least make it fixed only in order to get some differentiation, and help re-establish the identity of the place. Why let cycling forums become as homogenized as high streets? There's no place for acquiescence, unless you lack principals.

  • That's a fair point, I don't have a fixed wheel bike right now, but neither do I post on BR, so I'll just keep this mornings time a secret.

  • I am heading out their tonight to do this shit proper and ride 3 laps backwards, only bar spinning at the roundabouts

    Whos? ;)

It would be cool to at least have the fixed list separate.

Thank fuck someone else is taking this matter seriously.

  • Wuss? ;)

    Oooh, get her!

  • Todays shakedown (which was a lot of fun):

  • ^what are these charts from? SRM own software?

  • Golden Cheetah, really nice application for displaying power meter information.

    http://goldencheetah.org/

  • Seeing the data displayed like that really makes me wish I had a power meter.

  • really... it make me wish i knew what all the pretty colours were for

  • ...but *one *lfgss would be nice).

    You've changed.

  • Oh it is GC; I've downloaded it but never used it.

From the screenshots it looks much easier to navigate and filter/adjust than WKO which is stuck in the 80's somewhere, but with near identical functions.

  • all the pretty colours

Is what I like about it!

  • It would be cool to at least have the fixed list separate.

Agreed. Mostly because then I would be 2nd.

I don't agree that this thread strips us of our 'identity' or that it makes the forum more homogenized. I don't want to join B.R, but I do want to enjoy the competitveness of this thread. It's a bit of fun, I think you're taking it too seriously.
