This Saturday I'm going to see if I can make it.
Sub 3.30 amd I'll be reasonably happy.

Hmm. I'm a bit late to this party but am doing some work in Putney at the moment. Might see if I can wake up early and do 3 laps before I start.
I have a garmin, without reading all 27 pages of this thread, is there a way I can easily record and upload my time here?
That said I popped a rivetted button on my swrve jeans the other day. Perhaps I shouldn't rush in to showing off my times just yet.

Garmin Connect allows you to post it. connect.garmin.com

Hmmm... haven't been feeling Richmond Park in the weather we've had in the last couple of weeks so stayed local. Quite glad I did - best effort I've made in a long long time.

Should be back on form for a few 3 lap attempts soon I reckon :)

New to richmond park a great place to cycle if you live in Pimlico! I,m amazed to see people in shorts at this time of year! I saw a guy in a short sleeve t shirt today! Been there 6 times now and had a few incidents already. On Sat was following a chap (should have known better, he had his pump hanging from his tool bag by a rubber band) through rab after fast descent suddenly he slowed and did a u turn in front of me still do not know how I missed him. Working up to the 3 lap challenge slowly!

Quality time yet again dude. Seriously windy out there today wasn't it?
Went round for 1 22:40 lap at the end of a local ride-around and gave up (stuffed my face outside the cafe for a while)
Small consolation - I'm now in 4th/22 in my weight group on Strava on the Putney hill sprint, and 5th/29 in my age group (12th/65 overall) =)
All praise goes to Strava to be honest - it's pushing me to beat myself more than a personal trainer ever could!

You must only know feeble personal trainers..

Well, the only personal trainer I know actually broke me for the best part of the week before last. I couldn't stand up without a cocktail of painkillers.
Don't want to break myself though - I want to beat myself -

hur hur he said he wants to beat himself hur hur

Did three laps clockwise today on the geared bike. I wasn't timing but I reckon it was around the 1hr 5min mark. Still learning how to ride with gears properly, so I was focusing on having a low gear so that I was spinning a lot. Windy as fuck but a great day for it. Quite a few polite head nods today, too, for a change.

I need to do some laps tomorrow and my regular partner is out. Anyone want to get 3 laps out tomorrow morning? Say, 10am at the cafe?
It won't be a sub hour challenge mind, just a few laps.

I might be up for that Gav, however it does depend how much beer I drink tonight

I'm on my way to the Reej for a couple now so may not be on my beat form anyway... I'll be heading there to clear my head regardless.

Right, I'm home and only 48% of me is boozed. 10am at the Cafe is on, speedy Tom might even make it so we'll have someone to coast behind!
