yep, on new road, in between the mash tun and wagamama.

  • we finish about 8.30ish so yeah you will miss most of it

  • cheers for letting us know, lee.

let's try and get out quick so we can be back for a good few races at the end!

  • I expect some cheering if you make it!!!!

  • blimey there was quite a few of us...

Shame we only managed to see the last lap of the under 10s, but the cake was worth it.

yee hah mother fuckers, that gearing killed me, and i had a near accident after i left, with a lovely taxi driver :)

48:13 is rather hard for getting up to the dyke!

But i did it,and i have no excuse next time!

Good to see so many of us out and about,

and some serious props to the lady who made those cakes!

  • really enjoyed the ride, great to meet you all!

the weather's meant to be pretty pathcy until this time next week. i'm about though, if anyone fancies a ride this weekend. let me know!

  • yeh, was good, my legs arent as bad as i thought they were going to be, maybe they really are made of steel!

  • Morning all.

Good to me everyone yesterday. Nice ride... my little map tool thingy reckons it was 19.5 miles to Preston Park, so nice work.

@ Lee - I'm sorry, we seem to have brought the rain to the track! Next time we'll make it earlier, and hopefully sunnier...

    Cheers,

    Max

  • Shame you guys missed some great racing! me and Pete hit 41mph in the sprint and yeah ta for the rain i got rather wet!

  • yeah, nice ride indeed

regular wednesday thing sounds like a plan!

    kai

  • nice to see you join, kai!

  • So how about saturday June 28th for the Southover sprint... gives us some time to make sure we're all free and maybe convince a few people from london down.

And god forbid maybe even train a little

  • Theres nothing in my diary,it'll be great if its sunny! I've a got a little design company, gimme a shout if you think we need any design stuff knocking up.

I whizzed by the library about 6.50pm last night on my way home but i must have missed you all.

  • where did you lot go in the end?

sprint sounds good on that date for me.

  • we went out over devil's dyke, across poynings roundabout, through shave's thatch to hurstpierpoint, then cut east to pyecombe, then in along the bike path to london rd and down to PP track for tea n cake. then to the fiddler's elbow for a pint of the black stuff :)

think max said it's about 19 miles ??

i'm up for the sprint. timing by heuer and photo finishes are standard i presume. or shall we just go for the casio stopwatch... tbh, i'll be happy if i make it to the roundabout at all. i think it'll be more of a challenge getting down it without brakes!

  • i think im going to make a fixed electric bike for the sprint! haha :P
yeah lets do it, maybe get some of the big kids to come play from the london town!

  • so we're def on for the 28th of june then?

I'll add a new thread hopefully that'll attract a few of the london types, maybe even get lee to bring a few of the track types..

Maybe swing buy that way on the ride on wednesday

  • and bring a spare 22tooth cog!

  • i think we need two prizes one for quickest time and one for completing in the highest gear
