I hate HMR&C... What's the point in setting up a website for submitting VAT returns that then won't let you submit your fucking VAT return?!?!?
And then... Why bother having a helpline number that's always fucking busy?!?Is it just so you can fine me again because the onus is on me to do everything I can to get in touch with you when it's actually fucking impossible to get through to your department in any way? Do I have to resort to camping outside your fucking office in Liverpool, you fucking cunts?!?
Fucking morons, the fucking lot of them... Let's have a fucking riot...

Orange.
They're not in my good books anyway but I'm tied in to a fucking 24 month contract with them. Then today:
They gave me some insurance - Orange Care @ £12 per month which was free for the first month and told me when I was in the store that I could cancel at any time after that. Which i just tried to do.
First of all the woman on the phone said I had to have it for £12 per month for 3 months from June 7th, then after my querying it, saying that this wasn't mentioned at point of sale, she put me on hold only to return and say I have to have it until October 7th. When I asked to be transferred to the relevant department, she wouldn’t transfer me to anyone else despite asking and being put on hold saying that she was transferring me a total of three times.Add to that she reset my online password (which I did ask her to do) but now I can’t log in either with my new or old password to check just why they've found it justifiable to charge my first months bill at £116.
Beautifully they've just sent me an automated SMS questionnaire requesting feedback about the experience.
Cunts.

CYOA - a former colleague was with orange, they pissed her off, she beat the shit out of them (diplomatically) over the phone. refused to continue the direct debit and said the only way she would continue with the contract is if they sent her a bill each month for her to check over before she would send payment.
My ex then signed up to what she thought was a great deal but wasn't. they were charging her £200 for her phone (on a £45 tariff!!) and charging her monthly for tinterweb allowance. Made her ring back and kick off she got the phone for free and the internet included.
Maybe you should try calling back and speaking to someone else. Theey have to put you through to a superior if you request it. I hope you got her name to make a complaint.

Phonetically "Sholinda". She refused her surname and refused to spell it for me...
I'll ring back tomorrow when I cool down a bit and formulate something to say so I don't fluff it. It's all very well typing this stuff but when someone is trying to talk you down at the same time as thinking on the cuff it's a different matter.

I know what your saying, i think of a rough script but I make bullet points of things I need to cover and tick them off, so if I get led off script (bound to happen) i'm not struggling to find where i left off, i just go to the next bullet point.

They're not the only shit delivery people. Home Delivery Network (for amazon) failed to deliver a parcel to me, after I'd been in all day. They also didn't leave a slip with any info on. They then left the parcel at a random shop about 20 doors away from my flat... took me about 10 days to locate the damn thing..
these guys are notoriously shit. Amazon did this with some books. left a slip outside the entrance to my block of flats - which I didn't receive, funnily enough - and when I tracked them they were on the way back to wales....
- some silly ignoramus in the office suffered this. I had to listen to 2 hours of her bitching about it to the inept courier company in her incredibly loud and irritating voice. HATE
