just a thought - but with a front break and no mechanism / ability to break the rear wheel, any attempt to break quickly will likely result in a jolly over the handlebars.

Or it's just like taking a poo ( a real messy one ) and then realizing you have no toilet paper are locked out and have no money.
Personally i learn't to skid before i learn't to poo - i still do the occasional skid for old times sake

I never have this problem as I always get up early, have a quick cuppa and then leave for work, thus skipping brakefast.

I've mastered skid stops on gravel and grass
Tyre manufacturers are very much against skidding on gravel and glass.
Oh, you mean grass. Grass is ok. -

Or it's like writing a really dumb post on these forums, thinking twice about hitting the submit button, then hitting it anyway, then very quickly, becoming painfully aware, that you're nothing more than a very small, and insignificant turd.
In fact it's exactly like that.
bwahaha!
odee repped.

Everyone except Dovvles, he's on 48/15 apparently.
As an aside i'm going back to two braks on my new bike just because I fancy a change... and i want it to be anti-hip cos I am a contrary old duffer.

Ok ok I get the idea. Someone feel free to delete this thread. Unless you want to keep it for prosperity... :)
How is this thread going to make me rich, exactly?

move to Norfolk?
Hey, we have hills. Gas Hill is as steep as Rapha, I'll have you know.
They do have gravity in Norfolk, you know. You're getting it mixed up with a healthy gene pool.
Exactly. We have hills, and more fingers than strictly necessary.

There Will Be Blood, it's a good movie, for me it's not that great but good nonetheless.

The only thing I will say on the matter is that brakes are terribly handy when one wants to stop. And they only take 2 cool points away from your bike. A pair is actually quite good value at only -3 cool points, so I would go with that.
You will also find that your face insurance premiums come down.
