La Coupole was awesome, and grim at the same time.
Don't forget the other one nearby, Blockhaus l'Eperlecques.

Gambetta Limonade- I shall do so next summer, if not before.
Hippy- Dan remembered that his parents have an RV, we could take that and the Antique Dealer Express.

Oi. It's a serious thread about non-alcoholic beverages. Let's not derail it with historical content.

According to Wiki, "As of 2009, Tab is sold in the countries of the Southern African Customs Union (Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland), the United States (including the U.S. Virgin Islands), Hong Kong and Spain."

Up until now, I didn't really think running 1 brake on SS was that terrible, I think we've all done it at somepoint. I ride with a front brake on my fixed for emergencies. I normally ride in SPDs and never really use the brake. Today though was riding in trainers and clip/strap Coming downhill at some speed and some traffic lights changed, started slowing down but can't skip skid as good with the clips and straps. Went for my front brake as I thought "this is getting a bit close" pulled it and just saw the end of it fly out of the lever leaving me brakeless. Managed to stop alright with a couple of skips but just left me thinking, if that had been freewheel I would've eaten some serious bus.
so moral of this I thought, anybody who ride a singlespeed road bike with one brake clearly has a death wish.
been riding around brakeless for the last hour and it's been fine, but I'll definitely be replacing the cable, imagine if my chain had gone too?!

Moral is surely to take care of your fucking braking system, no?
-
• #1772
moral is I had my fixed wheel to stop me, if hadn't....
-
• #1773
...then you maybe should've ridden a bit more defensively?
-
• #1774
please re read anecdote.
are you defending riding freewheel with one brake?
