  • got a 52 frame and forks outta use, imagine to a wee bit to small though

  • is it built-up (for me to try)?

I'm not in London 'till the 7th of Nov now but I'd like to give it a go.

  • Actually 52cm is definitely pushing it.

I'm 5 11" but usually ride track frames on the small size (54cm). I think 52cm would be very wobbly for me down fast hills!

  • nah worries mate, i'm just a short arse 5'7 so quite a difference

  • After a spill my LBS tells me I Need a new - Front fork, Front Wheel and Headset.

Can anyone recommend some good third party parts that will be fit for the job?

  • is it more complex than i imagine?

  • Right, my plan is to get a stock fuji track, probably from biddles, and personalise it with a black/gold colour scheme.

    1. Is there any disadvantage to simply spraying straight over the original paint as opposed to stripping and respraying?

    2. Would I be able to use this

with the stock cranks and BB?

    1. Would there be any problem with using the stock hubs and spokes and lacing thyem to gold deep v's?
  • Q 3: Would there be any problem with using the stock hubs and spokes and lacing thyem to gold deep v's?

A: yeah, different spoke length i think, ive not delt with deep v's but im sure you would have to get new spokes. but the stock hubs should be alright.

  • pukes on cock

  • pukes on RPM's cock

  • Fuji Obey did that already:

  • pukes because of all this cock puking

  • I know, that's what I want to base it on, but for cheaper, plus only a gold stem, deep v's and chainring so it's not quite as bling.

  • Generally, spray painting doesn't look as nice..

Search for Armourtex/powdercoating for a better alternative

    vomits

  • Ok, from what I gather it's about 40 odd quid to get a frame stripped and powdercoated at Armourtec, this sound about right?

  • cocks on puke

  • I'm not entirely sure but I seem to remember it being a bit more expensive than that.. £60-70 or something..

Give them a call and see what deals you can get (assuming you're in London, if not search for a local powdercoaters and see what they can do for you)

  • .

  • wait for it

  • here you go

  • No, it is the wrong BCD. Think the Fuji one is 130 or 135.

    Bollocks :(

  • I just acquired the Fuji Track myself, also from Biddle Bikes!
I don't think the chainring will fit since the standard on on Fuji is dished:(
