I guess you need to look around for people who have swapped out the original forks and ask them if they still have the old ones. There is a thread on here somewhere of people posting their customised fuji tracks. Maybe one of them has changed out the forks.

Here is the thread: http://www.londonfgss.com/thread11215.html
It looks like CuppaT has swapped out the forks on his 2008 track. You may want to PM him.

is the front fork supplied by Fuji one standard size?
so a fork on a 52" frame is the same size as on a 58"?
-
• #761
you mean 52/58cm?
yes and no, the forks on both accommodate a 700C wheel, but the fork for a 58cm frame will have a longer steerer (due to longer head tube).
so you could cut the longer steerer down to size, but not* vice versa*.

also i believe the fork on the 07 fuji track is a 1" threaded fork, whereas on the 08 it's 1 1/8" threadless.

Is there demand for these Opium based substances? - I never knew
Ill swap a box of 50mg Tramadol for a new front fork and Wheel for my Fuji

I actually have the front wheel from my Fuji Track sitting in a cupboard. I'm open to offers...
A score and you can keep the wheel ;)

No.

Yeah, depending on your year etc you'll have a very different set up at the front.
Differences will include threaded/less headset, which corresponds with the 1" and 1 1/8" between 2007 and 2008, quil stem etc. It's all very ghey having such a mix up (specifically the 1" and 1 1/8").
What ever parts you get just ask if they'll work on your fuji track and you should be cool.
Peace

starting to get a bit stir crazy not having a bike, can advise me on a nice front fork headset and wheel that will fit on my 54' fuji track
-
• #769
Yo.... Check your PM's.. i replied to your PM about this last night....!
I've got a fork from a 58cm 2007 Fuji Track, sat in a box at home... open to offers but bear in mind it'll need to be posted as i'm in Manchester.

Get Edwards (Edwardes of Camberwell?) to switch-out those rims before you wear the paint off them and they lose value.
If they recommended those rims for riding single-speed they gave you bad advice. I'd make 'em swap & rebuild.
-
• #772
If anyone has an old 54cm Fuji Track frame and (threaded) forks they want to sell...
i'm all over it!
-
• #773
if you don't want the rims i will buy them off you. pm me.
also chop the brooks, it's fun and easy and looks 100% better imo.

Haven't heard back from Sparky unfortuantely..
Haven't heard back from the bike shop either, seems they are unable to source a new wheel and front fuji fork.
Might have to retro fit some custom parts, anyone know what I can get away with Front Forkwise and Wheel on a Fuji Track 2007?
