To your question, I have upgraded Stem, Handlebars, Seatpost, Seat, Rims and Tyres (I'm not sure of the part names the people at Edwards built it for me)
I just realised that the Rims aren't machined. But i might upgrade them soon.
(also i don't think the Brooks looks THAT bad)

I'm 5'9, so i'm guessing a 54cm track frame would be good for me?

yeah should be pretty good. try to find one to test first if you're not sure.

Ooops, just realized i'm actually 5'10. Should still be fine I reckon. My road bike is 56cm, and sometimes i think that's a bit big. But I've heard you should go smaller on a track frame.

i'm 6'0 and i ride a 56cm fuji track. 54cm should be good, unless you're a weird shape.

58"

Reckon you're gonna need a 58" I'm 5 11 and ride a 57/58 road - I have a long inseam and the 56 Fuji fet way too small so went for the 58. Try both if you can!

I'm 6 foot and ride a 56. It feels responsive but steady when fast. Perfect.

As reported last week, I stacked it on my Fuji track.
now that my smashed up ankle is up to cycling again (when heavly medicated with on tramadol anyway) I've decided to investigate the damage.
The front wheel is buckled and completely toasted.
Think I also need a new front fork and headset, wheres best place for me to find myself some replacment parts?

methinks going to a bike shop and let them inspect what's wrong would be an idea.

Talk to Matt at The Hub cycles - his details are on the forum somewhere.

I actually have the front wheel from my Fuji Track sitting in a cupboard. I'm open to offers...

Sparky, what hub? rims etc...

It's the stock wheel from my Fuji Track. I replaced it with my very first wheel-build a couple of months ago, and now it's sitting all alone in a cupboard.

Hi Guys,
I know the matter of sizing has been discussed before and I went through the posts (quite a lot of them regarding fuji vs sizing as well), but I still have some doubt.
It is almost winter in terms of cycling weather and just going to the shop and choosing between 54 and 52 frame is not an option, simply not in stock.
So which one would you reckon would fit me?
I am roughly 5'9" but have probably a bit shorter legs for this height than usual.
I measured the distance of floor to crouch (inside leg height) and it turns out to be between 76-81 cm depending on how I take balls into account:):)
I also ride a Trek road bike which is 56 cm and I believe this is a bit big both in terms standover height and the way bike handles.
I used to race MTB and was using a small frame which felt much more agile than the Trek.
So, should I go for the 54 or 52?
Any ideas?
I will probably order online so can't get a test ride unfortunately. -

I'm 5'10" and ride 56, i'd say the 54 is probably a good bet.

• #749
Thanks.
That is what I reckon. 52 may be too extreme. -

im 5'10 (just) and i ride the 54, fits perfect.
Hey, it might look a bit out of place, but at least it's comfy. *
