  • Hey fasteddy that is def a chick bike.... who's the lucky lady!

  • Custom build job for customer.........

  • oi oi she looks just like me!!

  • er, what a coincidence. :)

  • she must be your evil twin.
one of you is going to have to grow a goatee
so we can tell the difference.

  • girls with goatees are the sex

  • vegansdontneedgears girls with goatees are the sex

    You made me snort. HA!

  • ahh one of my goals for the year has been completed

  • hehe.. much obliged.. and so early in the year too, bonus :)

  • yes bonus

  • This is my 'new' ride as my bareknuckle lost a fight with a car. Its a 80's Lotus challenger. I've used it as a second bike for about 10 years now and it has treated me well.

  • Here's a pic of me and my bird. Haven't put a picture of my bike up yet for two reasons. 1) It's not yet fixed and 2) Its a Peugeot!
What can I say - i found it abandoned in the street and gave it a new home - ok so I'm an idiot! Say hello if you see me about - in the Twickenham/Richmond area

    Anthony

  • You found your budgie abandoned in the street? Does it always live on your head or does it have a cage?

  • what you can't tell from the picture is how it's feet are stapled to a black plastic tiara.

  • Nothing wrong with a peugeot

    nice budgie

  • Vinz, what's that thingy on the seat post? Anyone who says, "the saddle" will be hunted down and punished accordingly. :-)

Are they as bright as cateye ones?

  • no, they're shit. after a while they don't turn or off properly. they emit a pissy little light, it's a bit like watching the nebulous glow fade in his little eyes as your pet dog dies in your arms after being severed in two by a tractor on a devon road.

  • Ah, that's a shame that they're not pukka lights, cos they look much nicer on the frame than nasty black plastic brackets. My Cateye front light is driving me round the twist. The LEDs rattle about inside the body of the light and there's nothing I can do about it. So much for the silence of the fixed wheel bike.

  • Soweto, take the light off...there is a screw on the bracket. screw that down hard, there should be no more rattle.

i had the same problem with the same cateye.

  • Lpg, ta for the advice. I'll have a look for a screw (not sure if there is one) and see if it makes any difference. The thing is, I've taken the light apart before and popped out the section with the LEDs inside. When I held it in my hand and shook it about, my ears were greeted with the annoying rattling that I know so well. I'm sure this is where the sound is coming from. I will try your suggestion, though.

    This is the offending item:

Had mine for a while and have yet to have any problems. They not meant to shed light but merely to help get you seen which I think they do just as well as any other LED light.

  • whoops. i thought this was your cateye.

serves me right for not reading things properly!
