  • no, he's proven innocent and still guilty

speaking of which, is it just me or is Sean Yates (ex Discovery Director and before that roluer domestique for THAT guy) on the gurn? I hope he hasnt had a stroke or anything but he's lost a lot of weight and cant seem to stand still or hold a consistent train of thought in any of his Sky interviews...

  • Poor Sammy.

  • Poor guy. Such an innocuous incident, and such an exciting rider.

Hard to tell what the crash was caused by, was avoiding the old dude sitting by the road something to do with it?

  • Feel for Sammy, that looked painful.

  • Did look like the deckchair was pretty close to the road....

  • I think this is the problem with not having time bonuses. Really favours a conservative approach from the high GC riders, and doesnt make for enchanting racing.

I think that's only true in the first week and a half. On the other hand, lack of time bonuses does seem to have made it tighter at the front and a more honest race.

  • Thought Sanchez's teammate might have had some sort of mechanical, he slowed, pulled to the left and the others just ran into the back of him, taking out some spectators sat by the road side..

  • is cav out?

  • Only the back with the rest of the sprinters.

  • Ha, brilliant tribute to Didi Senft

What happened? I was watching BGP and missed it, he hit a spectator??

  • please read, 4 post up...

  • where is wiggins support at the moment? i would have assumed they would have been helping on the ascent

  • Froome is with him, now for the descent!

  • some mad skillz on this descent!

  • for a supposed team in turmoil, RSNT are riding well

  • Will be great to see FDJ's kooks get something from this.

  • Ah, Kessiakoff, was hoping he would stay away there. Hopefully he'll take it on the decent.

  • Wiggo might get another chance to win a stage sprinting ;-)

  • Come on Frogslegs!!

  • hope Pinot makes it stick

  • oh this is good, very good.

  • sneaky attack by Evans, swiftly reeled in

Great stage! Good win for Pinot, and FdJ

  • great win for pinot.

  • Great stage. Some real surprises. Nicely set up for tomorrow's TT
