  • rear:
    open pro, 38mm cross tyre

    front:
20e cheap front wheel from biltema, average 2" tyre from otp 29er cannondale.

  • thank you! what is the width of the rim?

  • Who built that fence? Thanks a dozen.

  • ^I would say its more of a gate than a fence.

  • You're right to would say that. More snow than slush too. Must take care to examine the evidence more carefully next time, otherwise the handsome cops down the precinct will laugh at me more than usual. Sweet bike though, unless me eyes deceive me and it's a tractor masquerading. Ass saver my ass.

  • Nice bike indeed, I suppose as long as the snow doesn't melt the ass saver will be OK, totally useless when it rains though.

  • This arrived this morning from King Kog NY:

It's a long and I'm looking forward getting out on it.

  • Nice shoe!

  • I thought it comes with a seatpost and headset, as standard.

  • ^same? also it looks like very much like a medium, not a long?

  • V2 does not come in size medium. only short and long.

  • i'm fairly sure they did for a little while, on their .com site, before it was "full site coming soon" they had short, medium and long geometry's showing but the only difference between the short and medium was the mediums seat tube finished higher so they must've thought there's no real point and stopped making it, could be one of them?

maybe they've stopped that? I know Lukes v2 long didn't come with them

Would be the first time I'm hearing of this.

  • what size seatpost do V1s take?

  • ^^this is just educated guesswork, but looking at that frame it's top tube doesn't meet the seat tube high enough to be a long, or low enough to be a short. it's easiest to tell when they're built up, if the top tube points to the tyre/top of rim then it's a medium, above then its a long, halfway between rear axle and rim then it's a short

  • ^^29.8, nice and odd

  • thanks Jere

They're still doing it, it did come with the seatpost and headset, just didn't picture them.

  • Army green is nice.

I've measured the top tube and the seat tube and they're the same as the specs for the long. I'll post a picture once it is built up.

  • I might order from Ted soon as I know there is a wait on making em. Its like a month and if order at the end of feb won't be ready till end march. So far away.

  • could stick it forward to end of jan, maybe end of feb was too far away?

  • Anyone know anywhere I can pick up a long? My Google-fu is letting me down..
