  • They only seem to have the short option left :/

  • what is the downside of having no brake bridge here? does it make the frame less stiff or something?

  • Anyone know anywhere I can pick up a long? My Google-fu is letting me down..

I got mine from King Kog NYC after I'd spoke with Ged via email (http://www.brooklynmachineworks.co.uk/) and he'd said they'd got the last two longs from the shipment.

Drop them a mail, when I did that before christmas they had a long one that wasn't on the site, but it was more expensive than the ones listed on the site so I left it.

Probably, but with stays that thick I doubt anyone would notice.

    haha wtf. cunts

  • I might order from Ted soon as I know there is a wait on making em. Its like a month and if order at the end of feb won't be ready till end march. So far away.

Mine took over two months. At the time Ted was really busy but all the deadlines he gave me never held either. So..it might take lot longer than estimated.

Yeah I did, 3 weeks is the wait time currently.

  • I finally got around to building my V2 yesterday, however the brake I've got doesn't fit (Shimano R650). The recessed nut won't fit in the rear hole in the fork. I've been advised I can drill the hole to make it fit, but I'm not a massive fan of that option.

Anyone using a rim brake on their V2 with cluster forks? If so what are you using?

  • Anybody > 6'4 riding a Gangsta?

I'm 192 cm and have been riding my 50 cm v1 for few weeks now. The effective frame length is 59 cm and that's even longer than in my other frames. Fits me perfectly, but I'll go for a 110mm stem next.

Looks like this with a 120mm stem if you are interested:

Yep. Helsinki/Finland for sure. I got a chance to buy size 46 and swapped the frames with Jere who's build is on one of the previous pages. Here are the 46 and 50 v1's side by side:

  • ahhhh, i'm after a 46cm v1 and that raw colourway is such porn, really like the look of the f5 lattice chainring on yours by the way

  • That Raw one is amazing.

  • I drilled and it was easy...

I'll go this route if I can't get a brake. Just worried about messing it up.

I had Dia Compe Brs 202 on mine.

    Thanks for the info.

looks great and good to know how the saddle to bar drop looks like of a guy similar to my size. what's your inseam length?

I have measured myself in 2009 for a frame fitting calculator and back then it was 93 cm and body height 193 cm.

  • perfect, i'm 192cm with 92cm inseam, so a v1 gangsta long would fit me (sad that i don't need one)

yes, but the v1 sizes are 40/46/50 and v2 short and long. I'd say v2 long would be too small for us.

  • How long is your v1`s top-tube then?

  • dude scroll up like 4 or 5 posts

  • The effective frame length is 59 cm

    here

  • Not just finland producing arty photos of gangsters
