  • even that i doubt he would and probably shouldn't anyway. Ted is a proper craftsman and charges what his skills are worth

  • ^it depends on which way you look at it, i agree he is a proper craftsman and charges (as he should) what his skills are worth, but surely if you're doing the same thing over and over again this saves time and therefore money, for example, mitering the tubes, if he had 10 to do of the exact same measurement; jig setup, cutting time etc. would be reduced because after a couple he'd know exactly what to do.

Above all else, even if he doesn't offer us a discount, for him it certainly saves a lot of time for each of us to individually go and ask him for them

  • No harm in asking but don't expect a reasonable discount.

  • forks group buy thread here

  • Quick question, is the seat post diameter on the v.2 - 29.8mm?

  • ^yes

  • The only reason he would, would be if it reduced the cost drastically on the materials as far as i can think.

keeping jigs the same too.. i think he would do a slight discount. always worth asking, hes a very reasonable man!

    edit: jelly of everyone

  • Drops make this bike so much better. Yep all the v1 forks will look sweet!

  • ^ agree to both :)

  • Way prefer the skinny brooklyn ones rather than the ted james ones though, /\ they look awesome.

  • One more with drop bars and V1 fork:

  • Apart from the shitty levers, almost exactly what I'd do to mine if it were here.

  • I'm just excited to be able to get mine on the track and the road with only a matter of swapping some forks.

  • Watch out for bb height if you're putting road or track forks on.

  • Thats why I'm getting TJD ones so they will be the same as the flat BMW fork. BMW for Track/TJD for Road with a Disc.

  • Apart from the shitty levers, almost exactly what I'd do to mine if it were here.

What's so bad about those levers? As much I can see, they do the job.

  • Horrible hood shape.

  • Launchpad with V1 forks?

  • I'm just excited to be able to get mine on the track and the road with only a matter of swapping some forks.

Were you booked on an accred session the other day but didn't turn up?

  • Yes, V2 Launchpad with V1 gangsta fork

  • Were you booked on an accred session the other day but didn't turn up?
