  • Right, so I enquired about decals with roboto, he's quoted me £20 for a set of BMW decals (2 large DT, 2 top tube and 1 each of the seat tube and head tube) or £10 for a set if i can get five people including me on board, so that is the target, the colours are black lettering one white outline with black outoutline, a la here: http://www.chariandconyc.net/blog/wp...4/DSC_3353.jpg anyway list is in his thread, hopefully people are interested :) https://www.lfgss.com/thread97625-4.html

  • He quoted me 200 ...

For this sort of money I'd be willing to sell my original V1 fork.

  • ^^ Excited to see this build man!

  • I'll wack some photos up in cp today, got a few long term plans that will involve new decals ;)

  • They told me when I emailed them that they had only enough stickers for frames that were waiting to be made. Seemed ridiculous

this. visited the shop late september and was told the same thing.. got a bunch of stickers but no decals.

  • I might as well share these here as they kinda fit the topic.. (unfortunately) shitty mobile pics taken at the shop late september... was so hot and didn't want any extra weight.

    you might recognize this...?

the whole set (includes some other pics too from Åffinity and random spottings..)

  • Austin Horses one, that paint job and folk make it look shit, Im sure he's back on his original orange v1 now again!

Nigel Sylvester's BMW makes me want one even tho I don't ride BMX. So rad!

  • the blue cross bike with alphaQ is also austin's..

  • This is my gangsta V2. Great bike, really could work as the only one I´ll ever need. Instead of hoarding I could learn to take better photos for example.

  • Currently in talks with Ged about getting a Gangsta as it feels like an itch that must be scratched.
If they're really as good/versatile as people say they are, I can probably retain my current Two Bikes Only status.
Unless my tax rebate comes in, anyway...

  • I use mine for road and for track, 2 in 1.

  • Genuinely think it's one of the best and most versatile bikes ever made, it's an itch well worth scratching :)

^^^ can't beat a good set of fat tyres on a Gangsta!

  • I heard you, mine is being ridden by a forumeanger in SF as we speak, very versatile.

  • How come your Gangsta is over there mate? U should be burning her up here ;)!

  • I personally hated the ride on mine so much I sold it, and I had wanted one for years. A V2 size small in case that makes a difference. To me if felt more like riding my Mum's Pashley than a fast street bike, kinda fun but really disappointed me after all I had heard

  • it is less versatile than for example a steamroller in the terms of what kind of stuff you can ride. You can fit 35mm tyres on any single speed bike that is not track centric. They are really nice though, and I think the versatility is that you an build them as trick track OR fast city messenger hotness.

  • Or as a road fixed, since that's where the geometry come from.

I think Scott BRP has proven years ago that Gangsta is very versatile frame, and he didn't do all possible things either. I think it can be my only bike, but I don't race nor ride track regularly.

    Scott's Gangsta:

  • Actually, ^that used to be Scotts, I believe tomsvoboda rides it now :)

  • And mine too;

  • Who's got yours Ed?

  • Kirth.

  • Girth bought your BMW?!

    Bastard!
