  • Nah man, stubby stem and you'll be fine.

  • Damn I am tempted by that frame. It definitely doesn't help that I came across Konastab's pink Gangsta on my way home today.

Im guessing it was locked, when you seen it. You should buy, and you wont regret it!

Mine is a everything bike, commuting, training and a sunday ride. Does everything magic!

Yep, locked up outside the Ramshorn. Wasn't too tricky to figure out whose it was ... not too many pink Gangstas in Scotland I'm sure!

Anyway, I'm afraid I can't justify it (to my girlfriend or to myself) until I get rid of one of my other bikes, so I'm going to have to pass on it and hope that another one comes up down the line when I'm in a better financial position.

  • Just finished building up the V1 I bought from here 2 weeks ago. Will add the front brake today.

  • CRA That's bloody lovely!

  • Thank you. It's my dream bike, I've always wanted a Gangsta like that, simple, with some 2007 feel to it.

  • They are brilliant frames, hope you enjoy it!

    Missing orange Oury's

  • ^^^^^ that sir, is fooking awesome! Makes me want to swap out my bits for silver ones now. They are amazing bikes esp the V1's..

  • Yeah, silver stem & bars are the next bits I need, for now i've just put the parts from my V2, and the seatpost is the black Thomson that I got with the frame, I've simply deanodized it.
Just realized that the color I've chosen is the same as yours tomsvoboda, RAL 2008

  • Nice, it'll look awesome when it's all done. Always thought those saddles worked really well w the V1.
Ah that's interesting. It's funny how the orange comes out a different with every photo..

  • I will just leave this here

How to get your bike jacked 101

  • Was that the unpainted one? Looks great.

  • So, where can I get a set of stickers?

  • I think you've got to email them at bmw@brooklynmachineworks.com maybe kinoko can get them for you, last time I spoke to them they said they could still probably get the frames in so it's likely stickers are possible too.

  • They told me when I emailed them that they had only enough stickers for frames that were waiting to be made. Seemed ridiculous

  • I've been able to get 2 sets from BMW in July, they were nearly the last ones available.

  • Give roboto a shout boys. He sorted me out and they're the best decals I've had so far and are doing a grand job.

  • i've put a message on his thread here if anyone else wants to express interest

also can someone help me out, i'm after some v1 forks, i seem to remember tm on here mentioning a framebuilder (ted james was it?) who could build them?

  • yeah, Super Ted can do pretty much anything out of steel

  • He quoted me 200 for then when I still thought I was going to own a gangsta.
    Worth it though.
