  • Currently talking to Ged about getting one too, before `i go through any one willing to part from theirs? Need a long, or a larger v1 (I'm 6 foot)

  • Out of interest how did you get in contact with ged?

  • how is this not here

    where it belongs

  • Go on brooklyn Europe and call the number.

  • I worked out that ordering from Chari and Co would actually be cheaper, even after customs charges. (Don't quote me 100% on that). Still, would be nice to deal with Ged and I think he'd be able to get you mods like canti bosses etc.

  • Oh really yea I was trying to work it out as well, seemed Ged would be an easier option, it would be cheaper after customs but theres also handling and vat on top, you can never really be sure how much its going to cost!

  • how is this not here

    where it belongs

incorrect. they belong in my garage. fact. so much want , im going to need therapy.

  • the yellow one in winter mode.

  • Hah! I'm loving the fact the winter mode have that tiny ass-saver on.

"oh but it is ready for winter, look at the piece of plastic attach to the saddle".

  • as you can see from the photo it is quite clear and dry day!

  • prepared for that 2 inches of snow that will be here for 2-3 days.

that'll do just fine i think.

  • Last year mid december we had around 40cm of snow (helsinki)

  • Any of you guys know if thomson make a 29.8 layback or owuld I have to shim a smaller one?

  • Did you put a carbon fork on the Gangsta?

Kalloy's your best bet (400mm long, a decent setback and £20), otherwise get a 29.8 to 27.2 shims.

  • According to the Thomson's website, they don't do setback with 29.8.

  • Yup it's not currently on there but it will be again in the future.

I actually have a silver kalloy but I'm being picky again and want a thomson to match the stem.

  • Shim it is.

  • According to the Thomson's website, they don't do setback with 29.8.

Yeah that's what I think but it can be a bit unreliable sometimes, will have to shim I guess, cheers for the help Ed!

  • That red one is lovely. I do like the look of Brooklyn's.

  • Cheers mate, they're definitely on of the most versatile fixed frames out there.

  • Last year mid december we had around 40cm of snow (helsinki)

it was fun. now it's just dark and depressing.

  • Where are Brooklyn's sold in the UK?

  • I did a search but only came up with Brooklyn .co.uk site the frames you guys show on here don't seem to be available.

  • I'm not really sure, Kinoko can probably order them but it'll likely be about £600.

I paid considerably under £500 for mine including shipping and customs fees from the USA.

  • with the cheap dorrah atm it's probably way cheaper that way..

although not familiar with the import tax rates in the UK.
