^ Evil happens when there's nobody that stops it.
Saw Bad Lieutenant (original 1992) yesterday.
Fantastic acting/photography but due to 0 plot/character building (it is the addiction, the work...no explanation for the self-destruction of the main character) a "meh" experience for me.

We're The Millers. Sporadically amusing and Jennifer Aniston does a striptease twice for no clear reason. Other than she's a stripper, but the film would have made sense without her gyrating.
Casey: Did you think Lebron was [a real baby]? Oh no no, Lebron was a sack of herbs, oregano and basil.
David: Yeah, we were just treating it like it was a real baby. You know, for a summer project. It teaches the students that nothing ruins your life more than having children.
Rose: It also sends that message to teens, just stick to the big A.
David: Yeah… Anal.
Rose: Abstinence.
David: Abstinence! Neither makes a baby. -

For the love of everyone's goddamned retinas, just....WHY?!?
Looks like computer graphics that way?
I agree that it looks awful. But, you know, soon we won't be living in the real world (that's a matrix, anyway) any more, so what will it matter? :)

Who says this IS the real world? ;)

BTW - I'm with Eightball on the City of Men debate - a total crock of shite. If there was any doubt, Clive Owen is in it FFS!

So over the weekend I saw.
Filth - Very very good, McAvoys best performance to date and I aint even a fan of his.
Runner Runner - The best part about this film was it ending. Pish!
and last but not least
Prisoners - I really liked this, Hugh Jackman, Paul Dano and Jake Gyllenhall are all decent, what i felt ruined it slightly was not the story but the length at 2.30 I found myself struggling and wishing it would just hurry up and wrap things up. If this had been 2 hours, that would have been amazing.

J.J. Abrams apologizes for overusing lens flare: 'I know it's too much'
O rly?
Its not that he uses it too much that kills me(Well it is) but the lense flare dont even come from directions when a light would caught it. Just plain daft!

Had a go at watching Domino on the box last night. How many different ways can a film be so very appalling all at once? Amazing! It must be deliberate? What an utter shit storm of a directorial clusterfuck.

You just need to hear Clooney's voice, and you know that he is making that face...

^^^ Ha.
That maybe the one i'm looking forward to the most. It currently has a 97% approval rating on rotten tomatoes and a 5* metacritic rating.
It's coming to the IMAX which should be awesome.

Blue Jasmine was great!
Saw it at the Rio Dalston
Amazingly acted by Blanchett
Like a Mike Leigh film a tragi-comic look at mid life crisis and class
Rounded and ambiguous characters
Centred on 2 strong women's rolesOne of Woody's best

Marmite it seems. Half the people say yay, the other a strict nay. I'm a big fan of robots, robots smashing stuff, robots with jet engines, jet engines being robots and robotrobots. Still haven't seen it. Why you think it was shite?

I was looking forward to "The East" but was disappointed.
You'd think after so many motion pictures he'd been involved in, he would know what is regarded as a "Gimmick" and shouldn't fucking use. It's the equivalent of people doing this to a Photograph.
