I just saw Mission Impossible 4. My word, Tom Cruise is looking a bit ancient.
Complete bobbins other than the footage in and around the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. It really is that big - I've seen it.
A shocking film with no real plot to speak of, this will probably make him enough money to pay off Katie Holmes when they divorce.

i was quite looking forward to seeing that although news of a divorce would be good. did she break out of where he was keeping her locked up?

I made that up, but I reckon it's guaranteed.

Got 'Welcome to Collinwood' the other day, just watched the opening scenes only to realise that I've watched it a couple of times before. Well funny.

First 10 mins of kids is mega under age sex. Can see this is going to end well with these characters

Has science of dreams been metioned?

Quite disappointed with that, I watched it again recently having been really looking forward to it when it came out - I pounced on a DVD, popped it in and felt rubbish afterwards. Mainly from finding his character so utterly frustrating.

Last night I watched "The Doris with the Dragon Tattoo". Having never read the books or seen the original Svenska version, I was a total Larssen virgin. I though that James Bond gave a credible performance (particularly after seeing the Broccoli-esque title sequence), but Rooney Mara was the real star.
Overall it was a seriously gripping 158 minutes and there wasn't a single moment where I thought it was dragging on.
Go and see it!

I wacthed A Dream of a Life the other day.
It is utter dog shit.
A Channel 5 quality reconstruction doc-drama that fails to ask any of the questions that need asking.Avoid.

I really liked it too. Just wanted to add that I think the Hollywood version is better than the swedish production. Actually as always the books are still better, since both versions fail to give the passage of time in the movies. Also both versions have different endings to the book.

Makes me want to go and watch the original again...
Will Mad Margaret be at the premiere?
