  • ^NB The axe bit on Steve Buscemi was rehashed in burn after reading with John Malkovic on Brad Pitt

Millers Crossing is good, with different feel to their other films. Similar to Barton Fink in the noir-ish tone I think.

Blood Simple is awful, no-one would give it the light of day if they hadn't gone on to what they did.

  • Whhaaaa?? Blood Simple is ace! Love Barton Fink......Hudsucker......Jennifer Jason Leigh.....mmmmm

  • Watched Hanna last night - enjoyed it though kind of rushed and cheap ending. There were a few truly fantastic sequences earlier on - genuinely great and effective score, great editing, a few very good supporting characters.

    Worth a go.

I heard that got a record number of complaints when it was aired on tele. Not because of the [spoiler] plot but because fo the scene flushing money down the toilet.

  • I watched Horrible Bosses this evening... Sky give away screening tickets to sky movies customers.

Wasn't as bad as i was expecting but i would still have been mad if i'd paid to go. Never mind; The Tree of Life next week.
