  • Oh the film the reader.

  • Johnny and the dead... No, it was Johnny and the bomb where they go to the past using the trolley. It as on the BBC ages ago. Would be good to see a 'J and the dead', wouldn't work though as the actors have all aged and it's meant to be a series

  • Just seen "Win Win" starring Paul Giamatti. Very good indeed. Definitely worth seeing. Impressive performances from the young gentleman who plays Kyle (Alex Shaffer) and Jeffrey Tambor, as well as Burt Young.

    Nice message too.

  • Ended up watching Unknown. I fucken <3 Neeson, people are always trying to hunt him down, and generally give him shit and he just stabs the fuckers, and moves on with his life. Such a chill bro.

    too late for another film?

  • Watch it and see :)

I'm a sucker for films. From the poor and the good to the not very good and the very poor.

    It's definitely one of those.

rapidly losing the will to live

"Great Scott!" how shit could a movie be?

  • I dunno. Can I finger you?

  • Film it and play it at the Bicycle Film Festival?

  • I dunno. Can I finger you?

will that make the movie any better? i think it would take a double fisting to distract me from the pain of this.

  • Well, having endured this shit for nearly 2 hrs, I can safely verify that No Strings Attached really is caca of the highest order.

Finally gave up at "You should know that if you come any closer, I'm not letting you go".

Oops, looks like I just missed the acme of the film.

It was the only line I remember, despite having watched it yesterday.

  • Oh and "Great Scott"..

  • CYOA DTM. You could have suggested I pull my toenails off with pliers or similar instead of watch that.

  • Watch Fast and Furious 5 to take your mind off of things

  • Again. Don't.

  • Think I need to go and watch a Die Hard movie, or something of that ilk, to resuscitate me.

I'll hear no end of this.

  • As I said earlier, Face/Off is on iPlayer. If that doesn't equate to a good night, I don't know what does. As the former Mrs CYOA would no doubt testify.

Not that kutcher was in it and he is an awful actor.

Now starwars robot chicken then any robot chicken

funny you should say that... just read this comment on my facebook...

watched Face/Off on iPlayer today and feel like I wasted 2 hours of my life

  • Whoever said that is DTM

  • 500 days of summer.

I was tamping at the end of that film, why couldn't it just end on him being a miserable bastard for once.

David jason as rincewind was wrong.

totally and utterly wrong rincewind is tall, very skinnyy and in his 30's. how ever jason ws good as albert in the hogfather.

  • Saw Fire in Babylon at Everyman yesterday. Brilliant documentary film exploring how the best ever team of sportsmen (The W.Indies were undefeated in test cricket for a straight 15 years. Fact) came to be against a background of racism. How 4 vicious bowlers came to bring a team of brutish ozzies to tears with a severe thrashing how they went on to make their former colonial masters, the england team, 'grovel' at the oval. And all this to a fab reggae and dub beat. A film not only for cricket fans.

  • Watched Chico & Rita last night. Beautiful music and animation, rubbish story though.

CYOA, plenty of places for cheap cinema in London. Prince Charles does £3 day tickets, Rich Mix does £5 on a Monday and Tuesday (with a TH library card), and cineworld do unlimited cinema for £13 a month, which if you live close to one, is a bargain.

  • Never around during the day for the PCC sadly, though it's probably my favourite place in London. (Should really get membership, regular £4 tickets and sometimes as low as £1.5

Don't live close enough to a Cineworld, though someone did mention that to me the other day - though looking at their current line up I could do without it:

Diary of a wimpy kid: 2
    Pirates of the caribbean 15
    JLS 3D: Eyes Wide Open
    etc

Rich Mix is a good shout - only been once to see True Grit and it's easy enough to get to.

I don't even mind paying a fair bit for the cinema especially if the film's worth it. I just resent paying over 10 pounds for absolute tosh.

Currently a 4min ride. Best money I've EVER invested.

  • Yesterday evening my girlfriend and I witnessed people handing over £9 to sit on the grass of Ravenscourt Park and watch "Ghostbusters" on the pop-up cinema. It's a vain attempt to recapture those balmy evenings at Somerset House with classic movies.

But nine quid for Ghostbusters? And it was bloody cold as soon as the sun went down.

Only in this country would they get away with pulling a stunt like that.
