For an Ashton Kutcher film, I thought this was totally watchable as popcorn fodder. Clearly a lot of writers had thought very hard about how to be funny and I'd say, while it didn't come easy for them, for the most part they succeeded.

I really enjoyed Me You and Everyone We Know. When I was going through a break up I took heart from The Last Kiss (yes I have a rom-com dirty habit). Otherwise I recommend a lot of the mumblecore flicks [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mumblecore[/ame]

Not seen Colour of magic but anjoyed the Hogfather when it came out, can't remember what it was like though. None of them would work as a CGI with real actors. Johnny and the Dead was pretty tidy
