  • Wash your mouth out! Portman can do NO wrong.

Again I agree with you. I'm a Portman fan myself. But Attack of the Clones is terrible anyway. But watch the bit when she falls from the carrier again. (Can't find a youtube clip soz.)

  • She was awesome in Garden State but she was shit in Thor. The market has become so over saturated with her at the moment - do you know she has just done a rom com with Aston Kutcher - need I say more....

Actually 'No Strings Attached' is quite good. I posted about it earlier in the thread.

  • i thought she was ok in black swan, the script was so good you could stuck some trog from hollyoaks in it and you would still have a good film

    troll force 10.

  • Forgot to mention 'Attack of the Block' which I saw the other day, what a fantastic film. Highly recommended, I want to see more Joe Cornish movies!

  • yes yes
dont see many this time of year, films are a winter occupation

  • Trailer for the new Tintin film

That looks good - Jamie Bell is unrecognisable as Tintin - but then the teaser doesn't show much of him. Serkis as Haddock has got to be good.

  • Attack the Block is great!

He helped write Tintin above ^

  • Is The Getaway worth a watch?

  • The 'Basinger & Baldwin' or the 'McQueen & McGraw' version? Actually I liked both, the Basinger Baldwin remake was different enough to warrant watching, in some ways it was better too.

  • Ah, I didn't know about the remake. I'll go have a gander, I do like Baldwin though.

    nothing's sacred anymore...

  • Hanna is excellent glad I finally made it to the cinema to see that. Thank god Pirates was sold out, I don't think I could have handled it.

  • what films that from?

  • Fifth Element?

Dunno, in other news I watched The Ghost earlier - quite enjoyed it. Though both of the... conclusions.. seemed a little trite.

Now I've just started The Adjustment Bureau.

  • what films that from?

    Bladerunner?

  • What's Bladerunner? Never heard of it.

  • has anyone seen it?

  • The Adjustment Bureau.

Silly, but very charming. And reaffirmed my desire to marry Emily Blunt.

  • watched The Way Back and London Boulevard over the weekend.

I've never seen two so utterly dull movies in a while. The Way Back had a great possibility to be a fantastic adventure movie, it wasn't. London Boulevard could be a great London gangster movie, it wasn't.

    waste of time

  • i watched the orphan last night - what a load of tosh.

the shining is on tv tonight...
