Watch out for online retailers sending Eagle 5 when you buy Dominators. Dominators have the full Lorica upper and Eagles have that some of that mesh stuff on the uppers. Wiggle tried it with me but were happy to swap them out when I pointed out their mistake.

Has anyone who got on the cycle surgery offer been billed yet? I received order confirmation, but have not been billed so I'm worried they may actually have run out of stock.

i know it's been covered so many times but can someone help me out with sidi sizing? i think im going to buy myself some dragons for myself for christmas as they are mad cheap but im not really sure on what to go for.

actually, need a bit of advice in general. not really liking the look of the dragons with all the gold and white, i know they have the carbon sole and the heel retention system but are the differences really all that noticeable? not really liking the mesh on the dragons either, the shoes i wear now are all mesh and although im used to having cold feet, it aint that fun.

Get dominators and be done with it!

Also go somewhere where they have lots of sizes. Find the right size and then go home and order them online!

For cycle surgery, they bill once your order is dispatched from the warehouse. I don't think they actually take any money once you make your order, they just patch a request through to your bank in anticipation of the order being dispatched. Got my pair today and they are lovely.

My sidis arrived today. I'm a happy man.

Sidi Genius 5 in size 46. They are a perfect fit, which is pleasing.

a suggestion if anyone bought a pair of dragon's or any other sidi srs shoes

tighten up all the screws on the bottom before use, some of the screws were completely loose on mine

luckily i had read some reviews on mtbr about people losing parts of the sole as a result so have taken a screwdriver to them

purchased a new set for a penny less than a tenner from brixton cycles today.

they are fading out their sidi shoe range but have a full selection of spares which they will be keeping.

Whats the difference between doms and five xc's? just got paid, need to buy some...

dominators are full lorica, the others iirc have a mesh for certain bits of the shoe

lorica will probably last longer

go for whichever you can find cheaper. The XC's are £143 on wiggle at the mo.
