Looks like James dredged this one... Is that right or did Mr Shouty delete his post?

No MR SHOUTY got in there first, then reposted his initial post as a response to DJ... Now seems he went back and deleted the original.

Someone may have just lost a black (or dark coloured) Roberts conversion from green lanes homebase / sainsburys. It had spd-sl pedals and was being pushes by two very shifty looking guys who gave me some dodgy looks.

^^^^ fuck! I have the exact same Harry Hall in red, will keep an eye out.
I'd imagine it'd be hard to get rid of it as whole so the thief is most likely to split it. -

I did enjoy #99 though:

shitloads of bikes, and other stuff
not sure if stolen though, this is an estabilishment with address and VAT No so I would risk saying they are entitled to sell this lot -

If anyones seen it knocking about, I guess it could be still knocking about in Manchester or in bits all over the UK, who knows ?
Will let you know if I spot it at the NCC, as unlikely as that may be. How was it locked / where stolen from? Be useful to know what locks mcr thieves are beating...

afternoon,
a colleague has had his Brooklyn Gangsta stolen from his back garden. no photos but it was similar to the photo in this post but no drops. Black Brookes Colt saddle, pedals were some kind of flats no straps (possibly some BMW veggie burger type affair?)

Just had my bike pinched - yesterday (15th Jan '13) - from the basement car park under my office during the day!
Here's some details:
It is a dark green (standard colour) 2008 Specialized Langster has been stolen during the day from the basement car park under the Atkins Limited, Epsom Gateway building on Ashley Avenue. I may be able to upload a better res photo, if needed - 'though you probably all know what a Langster looks like!
Since the photo, it has been fitted with the Union Jack saddle and the front wheel changed to DTSwiss R450 on On One/Planet-X hub, same as the rear. It has/had Onza Preda 23 mm tyres fitted. Other distinguishing features are a green BrevM 46T chain wheel and 15/16 flip-flop fixed/fixed rear hub, plus Shimano 105 (silver) front brake and unbranded (black) rear. It's a dark green 2008 Langster, with green bar tape and black Tektro brake levers. It had two front, two rear lights fitted: One23 Extreme Bright 1000 front light with battery pack, RSP 4-LED front light, Smart rectangular rear light and a small single LED rear light. It has/had SKS Race Blade mudguards fitted. I suspect that these last two items, at the very least, have been removed.
Whilst not exactly unique, it has some distinguishing parts that would be hard / unlikely to change. I have the frame number at home, so can confirm any sightings.
Your help in returning this much loved bike to its home would be most appreciated.
