Anyone missing a blue fort lo pro track bike, red bullhorns/risers, red? Pedals. Earlier today watched it get pushed down kingsland Rd by one of those iffy characters that try to sell crap on the pavement and into barclays bikes shop. Where it was still about half hour ago.

My colleague Neil had his red bianchi road bike (58 I think) stolen from Bedford Row last night, before 7pm. D-locked and cabled, no sign of the lock.
It's quite a distinctive bike, bought off Maryann on here. This is it, though the forks are now black.
I think this was locked on Beak Street this afternoon, I think same handlebars and tyres. How common are these frames? Sorry not more help, but it's still about at least.

That's me. Our garage. Our bikes.
Including two fixies (three if you count the S3X) and some unique, irreplaceable machines.
Please keep an eye out for 'em, folks.
shit Charlotte, just seen this, bad news, will keep my eyes peeled

Any one got a White charge of some sort stolen all White with White wheelset and hubs and no brakes saw a little youth (hoodie and all) showing it off to his friends all with what seem like stolen bikes such as specialised and other geared mountain bike was in clapham junction at the time so let's say south west London base

^ any indication the Charge is stolen? why did the Speciailized mtbs "seem like stolen"? (ie. if so let's hear it)
did no-one have legit bikes when they were 'youth'?

I saw a guy standing at a bus stop outside my kitchen window with a bike that obviously didn't belong to him. I know it wasn't his because he was wearing a hoodie, innit, and that is obviously well shady. Also the bike was red, and red bikes are statistically likely to be stolen bikes.
I did not give chase because he probably had a knife.

...maybe there should be an alternative thread for stereotyping and idle speculation. there are plenty of real stolen bikes here, like Charlotte's.

Well they were younger than 15 and honestly I dont think teens that age would not have the money and choice of riding specialised bikes and folding bikes dd I also mention saw them outside falcon estate behind clapham junction station and to my knowledge nt a very nice area I don't to me it just look strange or it could be that they have rich parents

Nine elms car boot sale at new Covent garden market is where I'm going when my bike gets stolen. Open on Sunday's. Went today, and it was by far the shadiest market I've been to. At least five different bike sellers with large vans, loose lights, front wheels etc...

looks & sounds stolen, rubbish /non sense description, shit phone pictures, lowish price, 3day listing, other bikes visible in background, and seller is based in essex.

hmm, doesn't seem that dodgy IMO... the description is sort of okay-ish by ebay standards, and the price doesn't seem low for a knackered old raleigh...

Essex, though. That's the most damning evidence of all.
i realise that this thread is Very Cold - but if anybody sees it through a google search, head on over to classifieds to see an ad for a brand new fuji track similar to the one stolen above...
