Good work. Pizza, beers and bank holiday recovery I hope. I need to work out how permanents work.

Tried a few more things then got more aggressive with the paint scraping, went back to original hardware and forced it over as far as possible so when torqued down and it leans, it doesn't lean all the way into the rotor. Think it's going to be rideable now. Of course now I find a slow leak in the rear tyre.. #idoallmyownstunts

What's that route? The Shark or something?
-
• #9256
Nah, one of my own

• #9257
Is there actually paint on the mounts?

Guy on the orange Focus was at Blackpool Glasgow Blackpool. Photographed us, I tired talking to him but don’t recall him being very chatty.
Although we weren’t in great spirits so maybe I wasn’t as talkative as I thought.

Good work on the arrow everyone. Slightly disappointed not to have joined.

Yeah, that’s Niall from North Fife. He always does a good job to get photos of the rides and put them up on the AUK Facebook group.
Can be a chatty guy but probably less so on the bike.Looking forward to Arrows next Easter already.

Anyone know anything about this?
-
• #9262
Hmm, also interested...

I’ve ridden with Niall a couple of times and he’s a quiet chap, but he always seems to have put an extra 1-200km in before said event so I let him off.

First of this year’s SR’s completed on Sunday (subject to validation).
Good chips, shit coffee up the east coast.

Good effort.

On the bottom there was. I didn't do anything with it initially because it looked to be outside the bolt head.

I assume the Easter Arrow cannot count as a PBP qualifier for either the 300 or 400, right? Asking for a friend.
-
• #9268
Doesn't count unfortunately, hence less people doing it this year.
-
• #9269
Okay, thanks. So I have a 200 (the Shark). I would just need the rest of the SR and I know I can ride a 400. I said I wouldn't ride PBP but now I'm tempted. Damn.

Plus you have to ride them in order and they have to be BRM rides.
Audax = loads of rules.
Did you reserve a space for PBP? I'm not sure if there is a waiting list type of thing.
-
• #9271
you have to ride them in order
Really? I don't remember ever seeing this mentioned anywhere.
-
• #9272
You don't need to, you could do 4 600's instead if you were so inclined.
-
• #9274
That's what I'm doing. But substitutions are different to ascending order if you were riding the standard distances.

I thought I read that somewhere. The date windows overlap so I suppose you could do a 300 on 16 March and then 200km on 28th April etc if you really wanted. Or just ride 4x600s so no one is in any doubt that you have qualified.
The Audax UK website says the time frames are:
The dates for these qualifying BRM events in the UK in 2019 (dates may vary from country to country) are:
200km: Saturday 12th January - Sunday 28th April 2019
300km: Saturday 16th March - Sunday 26th May 2019
400km: Saturday 13th April - Sunday 2nd June 2019
600km: Saturday 4th May - Sunday 23rd June 2019
I had to have my flat mont fork faced to get a good it. Might me paint as you suggest.
