^ although the owner looks to have a lot of wherewithal given that rebuild, he built it up as if he was blindfolded clicking randomly on wiggle

lost opportunity there

They couldn't at least have bought matching bottle cages? They blew it.

It looks a mess but what a fantastic bike.

will the fork not snap from the forces of the disc brake?
-
• #83308
Why are the forks flipped around?
-
• #83310
The fork was built expressly for disc brakes, so hopefully it would be ok with the forces involved.
I agree that the finished article was not a thing of beauty.

The stem and bottle cage are a bet surely.
Otherwise. V.nice.

Frame looks amazing but the final build doesn't look like it received the same level of love. Shame, but still rad.

What a huge shame. Mismatching wheels and all. Just awful. I am sad.

Trek Session 88 is one of the only porn candidate dh bikes in my opinion

Hope DH looks the tits compared to others IMO. Almost bone like organic forms.

What a horrible build. As long as it gets used i guess, but i can't help but feel sorry for the builder for spending so much effort on it and then not get properly built.
Edit: Maybe not horrible. With different stem, tape, levers and cages it'd look ok.

Think the green Serotta is up for sale/sold... hopefully to a more sympathetic owner.

Asking a rather hefty $1700 for it though

Though I'm sure the curly seat stay 'technology' is utterly redundant, I think this is quite beautiful

They go the wrong way imo.
This is great.
