Sounds crap, give me the link and I'll let you know for sure...

Ha ha. It's in a ridiculous location but I happen to know someone who lives there who's offered to post. It's a good deal though, no? Seems like that's not even an extortionate price for just the frame.

I'm no expert, sounds very good to me though

The one in AberdeenShire that didn't sell for 200? yes, a good buy.

Yeah. I was surprised it didn't go but contacted the seller and they definitely won't post. I reckon it might be a bit big for me, but worth a punt I reckon. Seems like it's in great condition, I just wish ebay would sort out their 'ridiculously small photos' issue.

Get the seller to email you the original pics, and to confirm there's no dents, dings, crashes, etc.... Or get them to relist it with a BIN price, but that will cost them again and then there's PayPal charges. You're more likely to get rock bottom price outside of eBay and PayPal, if its worth the risk? If you're mate picking it up isn't too bike savvy you might want to pay the extra pound or two for some more security.
If its too big, you'll get enough back on the frame to buy/swap for a decent one that fits, and have the parts to build it up straight away, so not much to lose. -

God awful build. Rather unusual frame though, definately not seen one by cannondale before.

Im 5ft 8 so it will be on the small side I'll see how it fits when I get it down to London and if it's too small I'll drop you a pm KT.
Well obviously I hope it's the perfect size for you and you have many happy hours on the track together, but if not ...

50 quid... dream on.
Seen worse go for a LOT more on ebay. Looks like it has Exage cranks, brakes + levers, so not too bad. though looks a bit, erm crashed? or is that an illusion of the amazing single photo?

ebay US now seems to have MUCH bigger photos as standard, also they have that scroll over plugin working in most categories. Ebay UK GET YOUR SLACK FINGERS OUT!
I just tend to hotlink/ html in some photos from photobucket at 1028x?? resolution into the description, doesn't cost and ebay don't mind.As for the bike, yeah I saw it, but nearest person is about 90miles away and not at home right now. Grrr Would go for it, even £200. If your mate could do it, cash from him would be better, as £200 - 5% -10-15% sucks for the seller.

just won this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220968622288?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2648
and the guy has said to me that his paypal account is "frozen" so he cant get the money out for postage. could this possibly be true? I feel bad that it only sold for 99p, but that's not my fault, and i'm wondering what to do.
he said he'd refund me and i can pay him again by the end of the week. sigh.
has anyone ever heard of a paypal account being frozen (not able to withdraw funds)?
thanks

Yeah. Paypal have a whole host of holds and freezes they do, for varying (and often ridiculous) reasons. The guy sounds legit.

tell him to call paypal, they will fix problems that take days normally in seconds over the phone.

^^^ it's too expensive, the BB is swiss threading, the seatpost is 27.0, HS is funny threading and hubs are 28h (which is fine but still a bot rare-ish)
so all in all not a good buy =)) -

Mate's game, just waiting to hear back from the seller. I really can't afford it but have justified it with the "if it doesn't fit then I'll split it and sell it" (because of the weirdly mixed group), and if it does fit then even better!
Not sure the Fiancée agrees, mind.
I've offered £175 for a 753 frame with a mix of Dura Ace, 600 and Campy (including large flange hubs). Good deal plus postage? I'd post a link but fear someone would step in and take it!
