  • no ^^

    im feeling groggy this morning..

    and so it begins.

  • ^^ Nah, down at ground level again today, unfortunately.

^ Oh fuck. Wake me up when it's winter again.

  • I have never understood the pedals thing!

Most racers have a preference for pedal systems so there's not a lot of point selling bikes with pedals. Maybe some flats to roll the bike out of the shop but that's it. Also means they can quote weights without pedals :)

  • All new bikes should also have a bell and reflectors fitted.

    Where's the law for this?

Race bikes are rarely sold with bells and reflectors.

  • It's called flashdance, and slack leg warmers are by far the most likely explanation. If you have zero flashdance, your brain is probably too square.

    I wanna live forever!

  • You are Leroy AICMFP

  • Race bikes are rarely sold with bells and reflectors.

From our shop, they do, even the £6,000 TT rigs have them (with many odd modification made to fit the seat post).

    super safe legal responsibility avoiding?

Most safty stuff only applies to bikes sold to use on the road. If you sell it for off road use then you can get away with it I think.

Plus for test rides aswell I guess.

Funny how none of them on your website are shown with reflectors or bells.

Show me one of your TT bikes with a seatpost reflector..

  • They're the nude shots.

  • I'm going to Evans today and collecting evidence. #shenanigans

"Bespoke competition bikes (PBSR r. 3(1)(d))" are outside the rules.

Evans does not sell bespoke bikes. Parts-list bikes are not bespoke.

They're like budgies in that regard.

It distresses Ed that bikes are shown without the maximum possible equipment, too. Don't rub salt in his wounds.

"has been constructed, or is intended to be assembled, to the design of an individual person for use by that person in competitive events"

I a customer requested that no reflectors or bells adorn their new race machine, is that then considered bespoke?

  • Anyone know much about using a Sphygmomanometer?

I need to get one to for daily use (not for myself). I know digital ones are common but stuff that uses rapidly depleting batteries piss me off to no end, so want a manual one.

My question; Is it more difficult to use one with a rotary dial to compared to the upright mercury level things?

It seems like all the new/cheap ones on sale have the round rotary dial, but all doctors I have seen use a manual Sphygmomanometer have had the upright mercury tube thing. These are available used on ebay but seem to cost at least twice as much as a new rotary dial one.

Wouldn't have thought so. Just make sure you don't jog the dial while you're taking a reading. Should be a good deal more accurate than a digital device.

You'll need a stethoscope to go with it, too.

Remember - snug but not too tight!

  • Anyone want to drive my shit from Hackney Wick to Brixton/HH on Sunday?

  • Show me one of your TT bikes with a seatpost reflector..

Will do, I'm not in today.

  • what's the cheapest way to get to bermuda?

  • Swim.

  • what's the cheapest way to get to bermuda?

Ask a hipster. Hipsters love triangles.

  • Find a Bermudan immigrant who's about to be deported, and swap identities.

  • Bermuda isn't in the bermuda triangle, fact boy.
