i'm 192cm and weight 92 too. as it's a carbon frame it's stiff like hell!

Have heard of Alien Bikes? I really like the V3. Have you maybe heard of some reviews?

they are good but i don't think that he's ordering them anymore in asia. but check alibaba.com then you will find the model for a bit less.

today i rode the final set-up for the first time and it's really stiff and fast. the only thing i don't feel comfortable is the full carbon fork. i can't explain it as it's more a feeling of uncertainness

you'll forget about it soon. I was the same when I switched to carbon bars on my road bike, now I don't even think about it and ride it the same as any of my other bikes

Sounds like me when I rode a Lefty suspension fork- I new it was very strong, but couldn't help feeling that it was seconds away from failing.

A lot of people would say a full carbon fork is less likely to have problems than alloy+carbon bonded.
[ I hope this knowledge helps you trust it ]

Just thinkin to order same frame to replace Nelson.
Have you ride this frame with Alpina? I don't know would I order it with Alpina or road type fork. -

I've got one to replace my Nelson Pista. Road for take is 43mm compared to 30mm track fork. The seta is defiantly not as twitchy as my nelson although I've not been able to put enough miles on the seta to know if I actually want to keep it over my Nelson

Do you got road or track fork in Seta? I asume that Nelson is with orig. fork. Nelson is great and cheap frame, but..However some reason i'm really interested to order Seta.

I've got a road fork on it at the moment.

Hmm..52cm Seta got same head tube angle as mine 51cm Nelson. I think that I will order the Seta with Alpina and if it's not good then I can get some light road fork for it..

i bought the frame 2nd hand without a fork and currently running a road fork, which feels good for longer distances and city rides.

decided to install an alpina track fork, just for the look of it, as it's 250g heavier then the ritchey one. but as the experience never got it's end with a lighter wheelset, i don't care. has anyone a drilled glossy one for sale???

change your drivetrain Eingang!

Have a look at the Wing TT version of the Alpina fork on my Dolan, 'Cannibal Dolan' a couple of pages back on Current Projects. It is stiff as a very stiff thing and may be a good compromise for you between road and track forks. It works for me and I love the look of it, but I have very poor taste....

fyi that's a tifosi not an alpina.
However, you'll need more than just another fork to make your bike look good;)

^^Hey, it's your bike, if you don't like it don't buy it, just trying to help! Mine must be the drilled road version, or I glued the brake on....

with the idea of changing to a straight carbon/alu-steerer fork and thus leaving the lightweight-theme i could also go for a set of hed3 (front+rear)?! will potatoshop it first later...
-
• #173
not that nice as i thought. seta carbon tubes are too thin in relation to the hed3-spokes.

Disc on the back, HED3 at the front.

yep
Great bike! I'm also thinking about getting a Seta. Can you recommand it? I'm a pretty tall rider 196 cm (6' 5") with a weight of 92 kg (202lb). My current frame is a Dodici Veloce that is not stiff enough. It bends as soon as I start to sprint.
