I think I've used one before, they're ok. Lots of plastic bits though. Does it have a ball inflator pin on the side? #startthrowingthreepointers

It does indeed.

I have the sks, it is basic but bulletproof, feels like it will last forever- and fully servicable to boot.
The head it comes with is annoying, but does work- as a compulsive upgrader I have not yet felt compelled to upgrade it

Buy all the pumps and then merge them into one. That sounds like more your style.

Super pump? Push it down once and your @150 psi?
-

Tester, what's special about those heads?
They fit discs and Hed3s, and stay on by themselves at 150psi instead of needing a third hand to stop them blowing off like the Silca crack pipe
-
• #22184
That's a sound argument. I'm probably not going to switch my PT 808 for an SRM and disc though and I don't often go near 150psi.

£38 Silca, I could get one of these and have spares in two countries :)

That looks better than Lezyne. They're almost the same, but Lezyne has a plastic collar where you screw the head in.

Is it heavy, though?

Please get ready for a raft of which spokes should I treat myself to questions. Just bought myself a pair of custom Mack hubs :D
^ If its listed at that price and you want it, why not pay and see what happens?
-
• #22189
Yeah, look like its up for £180. Order it I say.
-
• #22190
You're lucky it's tall. If it was a regular size I'd buy it without showing any mercy.

So are you going for a completely new wheel build?
I'd have thought switching your rims to something like the Kinlin rims, with some light tyres would be the way to go.

The trouble is I can't actually figure out how to buy it on the site.

^^In terms of weight can I do much better than Open Pro? I suppose having 24 Sapim cx instead of 32 would be a weight saving.
Mack are waiting for my 24 or 32 decision. I've got a new pair of Silver OPs sitting right here. ..

ZTR Alpha 340 rims could be a WW option.
-
• #22196
Cheers. Those rims would save me 125g overall. I should be able to shave at least 0.5kg off the total weight if I go with those rims and spokes.
0.4kg if I save some cash and use my OPs

Father Xmas is considering a Garmin 800 for me for road and MTB use. Is there anyway of easily creating an MTB course on OS maps and downloading it to the unit? I can't see any tracks/bridleways etc on bike toaster.
-
• #22198
Even on OSM? Some are on there but not all.
If you can see them on a map you should be able to create a course with custom waypoints...

Well I only brought it 2 years ago! It was this one and only £30 at the moment
