I had a great anecdote about cycling sensibly to work today and almost getting killed by a cunt in a transit van running a red light at Lord's roundabout (in the middle of a red light too, not at the end or beginning) - but after reading the thread I don't want to get involved.
It seems it's less about the reality of cycling in London and more about holding grudges and bitching at each other - and for that reason, I'm out.

Can't believe no-one has written 'has this been resolved yet?'

Best leave the entire forum then.
Basically, that's all it's about.

dan
you are clearly looking for an argument on here and as such its probably all your fault!
your negative thoughts towards the driver constituted an assault upon his person, he should by rights have run you over

Well done James for standing up for yourself. I just can't believe that someone who was blatantly in the wrong would then attack you because you dared to accuse him of being an awful driver. Let's hope that this c**t gets what's coming to him. It's unfortunate that we live in a world where people have total disregard for others safety. Hopefully because he's a Prison Officer they will through the book at him him as you'd think that someone in his position should be setting an example!!

The prison officer was the witness, the knuckle dragger was throwing the punches.
-
• #194
Knuckle dragger? what does that mean?
-
• #195
I think James should have thwacked the Prison Officer. That would have teached him. Cell Block H and all that. A true disgrace.
-
• #196
Knuckle dragger? what does that mean?
I think it means that James knuckles were dragged along the pavement by his assailant.
-
• #197
this is my new favourite thread.
what's it about?
-
• #198
If you don't stop being silly we'll have to set James and his Prison Officer on you.

Drags its knuckles...ergo, knuckle dragger

Oh, I see, an affectionate and endearing term for those less intelligent or fortunate than oneself, like "window licker" or "fly catcher". How pleasant.
This thread is officially hilarious (except for the bit where James got thumped).
Although I'm sure you've thought about this already DJ get a couple of pics of bruising on your back and get a check-up from your GP (so there's a record). Both will serve you well if you do decide to prosecute.
