White vs Teal will have a big impact on the feel of the room, so without sounding trite it's a preference thing.
I don't really like dark bathrooms as it's important for me to be in a bright space in the morning to get energised for the day. If you want something cozier and more lux, then a rich dark colour makes sense.

Yeah I agree. I've canvassed a few people and it's quite divisive. I guess particularly because the difference is so stark...I'm leaning towards the lighter shade.

Tidy. I like the use of the plug converters.

That's tidy, great result

cutting in deep colours is a bit nerve-racking, going very deep on the walls can afford a standard wall colour on the ceiling (f&b ammonite for ceiling springs to mind with an increasingly deep blue Samson colour) and it'll appear very light .. if you're a fan of hot showers consider upgrading from a standard vinyl matt

Used to rent a place with a windowless all black bathroom, walls and ceilings black and the wall over the bath was all mirror, was definitely a vibe

Yeah screw that,, ^ that's what you want to help get the dirt off you

I'm also a fan of the trend to have the same colour on ceiling, never known it not to work
-

Do you think it works well for a lighter colour too? I.e. should I go for the off-white on ceiling too, if I went down that avenue? I'm into it because it reduces cutting in! haha

Or something altogether different?
burnt orange on one wall to stop the room being cold. and depending on which wall (the mirror sink wall or the wall with nothing on ?) and how much light the room gets.

burnt orange
This is a really good shout Imo (and the bolder choice). Especially with the geometric design.

Yes it does work + you've always got the option to take the walls deeper

Not sure if this is exactly where to ask - we're redoing our ensuite and I think we need brass hardware (that's what most of the house has, it's 1920s and lots of period features) - any suggestions for good sources of shower hardware, taps etc? Trying to find stuff that doesn't look too modern but also doesn't look too Country Life magazine...

This is a very clever, practical alternative to the shadow/no skirting look.

saw don’t move improve long list came out
Bathroom paint.
One wall and floor in the patterned tile
Some other walls in the turpquoisey tile.
Do I play it safe and go light (to match the light colour in the pattern tile) or be bold and go dark (to match the dark colour in the pattern tile)?
Or something altogether different?
