  • Enjoyed riding ‘Zeist’ this afternoon and mad probs for my gf riding it with her dropper malfunctioning stuck in the down position, she didn’t want to quite and ride back to the van.
Question: what mtb pants by Decathlon are decent?

  • the whole bike? okay

  • Are you getting much grip from that tyre in winter conditions?

  • I have a day off tomorrow- anyone fancy some Swinley followed by Fleet jump/pump track?

  • Question: what mtb pants by Decathlon are decent?

these are the ones you want. I highly rate them.

  • It's 'ok'. I'd like a 3" Minion DHF, but I dithered when they were still available.

    @amey not wrong

  • I have a pair of these as well as the AM trousers and I think I prefer them..https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/men-s-country-walking-trousers-nh500-slim/_/R-p-301649

Watched this earlier and worth a watch

  • Edited.

  • Do you reckon the ankle would work with a winter boot? Ideally I’d want the trouser to tuck over the neoprene ankle of the boot

  • I'm going to have to sell my Moxie- if anyone is interested, please PM:
    Rough spec:
    2020 size Long Moxie.
    Fox Rhythm 34 140mm travel
    Bonty Wheels
    XT brakes
    NX groupset, pretty new.
    Brand-X Ascend XL dropper
    £1500.

  • I’ve just had my shoulder rebuilt pretty extensively with multiple pieces of titanium. Have been strongly advised against any form of ‘spirited’ MTB’ing for at least 6-8 months. So have decided to move on my Habit. I was planning on getting a new Scalpel HT instead of this anyway, so out the door it must go.

It’s a medium alloy frame with a custom army green Cerakote paint finish, with raw alloy logos (slight rubbing on headtube from frame bag). I bought a Habit Carbon SE, and did a frame swap, so spec is identical to this bar maxiss tyres.

Unfortunately I’m based in Frome, and unable to drive for circa six weeks, so will
    Need to be collected.

Excellent condition and will give it a full service & fresh tubeless goo after Xmas.

    Looking for circa £2k.

They walked straight up to our garage and started to open the lock, my girlfriend spotted them (the kitchen window overlooks the garages) and asked them what they were doing. They gave a story about a mate telling them to get something from garage 16 (ours is garage 6), and they walked off. Clearly they went round the corner, then five minutes later they were back, and as I ran down the stairs they opened the combination lock (!), pulled up the door, grabbed Fenella's bike and legged it with it. They shut the door and took the padlock with them, oddly.

  • Here's the bike

  • Fuck
    That’s terrible. And so brazen.

Are you on the bird Facebook group?

  • I'm not.

  • I have posted about it on the group. Hope you don’t mind

  • Thanks James.

  • Is GF ok? These sort of things can be rather unsettling.
