Not off sale stuff, but yes I did tell them that it's a bit silly given it won't cover the risk of taking on a used watch. Chucked a load of photos their way and said what else can you do?
Will probably just return it and it can be their problem :)

I was made an offer by WoS that if I bought an Explorer and a Milgaus then Iād be allowed to buy a Sub, the suggestion was that the two āqualification purchasesā were available to go straight away, but thereād be a wait for the sub.

Maybe try Burrells and make contact directly with Ed?? I remember you saying you spoke to them a while back about a GMT.
Bit random and basing this on very little but this gent picked up a brand new sub just over 2 weeks ago and says he's only just got into watches and has a very modest, small collection.
He does seem to like porsches though.

Tried to find a joke about your orientation that didn't sound extremely bigoted, failed, gave up.

Lost a spring bar. Are all replacements much the same?

What lug width?
-
• #54723
More or less, but I wouldnāt buy the very cheapest. Some bars are āfatā, ie thicker than others. Seiko sometimes use these in their tougher/divers watches and it means normal spring bars rattle about in the lug holes and can come loose (also they are a pain to get into straps that werenāt designed for them).
