MTBs don't count. Everyone did that 20 years ago.
Not an MTB, and it was last year.

What frame was it? I can't go wider than 50 on mine :(

FYI, probably 47mm or bigger. I have 40mm at the moment and I think I'll go wider on the new bike just to mix things up.
So far @hippy is the only one close to a suggestion, so I guess the old adage stands #hippyisalwaysright

DT Swiss GR531 rims, hope hubs, j bend spokes.

Interesting... Hope hubs could work, but I do prefer quieter hubs, hence leaning to DT 350 over the newer EXP.
I was looking at the DT rims, but it peeves me that they double the price for a welded rim. I can't see any other difference than that to the G540.

use RS4 hubs, 2 pawl not 4, far quieter.

My wife has RS4 hubs. They're still pretty loud.

What usb converter are people using for dynamos? Fork isn’t set up for internal routing.

that went really well

When were they last regreased? Mine are relatively quiet, unless I just got used to it.
I have a set of Pro4/DT Alpine III/Stans Grail which I like quite a bit, sturdy, reliable (and heavy).
I'd agree on the olloy rim, I had to recently change the rear one as it had a couple of dents too big to deem safe to ride, all due to my skill of landing all my tiny hops on roots!Recently started using a second set of wheels with Pro4/Mavic Xm819, also decent.

Hadn’t heard of these. UK made and specifically for CX widths. Awesome.

I have both and prefer the DT hubs (although the buzz from the Hope is good on trails - people are already out of the way by the time I pop out around the corner).
When I get flush with cash I'll build a new rear wheel with a 350 hub (hopefully it's the same disc rotor width as the 240) and then I'll sell the Hope 650B wheelset on.

I've got a prototype Igaro and one of the newer Igaro versions although I've not installed/used the latter.

Hidden eyelet washer things as well. They’re a really nice rim, I’ve been riding a pair for just over a year and they’ve been great. I’m heavy and do stupid shit like ride/jump down stairs etc and they’ve stayed true.
The RS are quieter than the Pro 4.

You see, that doesn't happen with me! Either my Hope are quieter/more greased or people are deaf around the trails I ride!

How is it? Heard some opinions that the power throughput is pretty poor.
-
• #14224
I've got nothing to compare it with but it charges stuff so it does what it's supposed to. I thought it was rated pretty highly against other devices in terms of power output.

Are you doing 50kph screaming "fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fucking fuckfuckfuckfuck faaaahahhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaafuck" at the same time? :)
Rest assured, you've all earned that many times over
